POV Nate
I stand leaning next to my bike waiting for Bronwyn to come out. I see her among a crowd of students. I can see her looking for me. She grins when she sees me. She runs over and kisses me. I place my arms on her waist and kiss her back. She pulls back "hey you."
"Hey" I say staring deep into her eyes. "You ready to go?"
I hand her my spare helmet which she has now claimed hers. I straddle the bike and she sits behind me. I feel her hands wrap around me and I get butterflies. I drive to our spot. The highest lookout spot is Bayview. We discovered it a little while back hiding from press. We sit on the patch of vibrant green grass under a tree and she pulls out a bottle of water and a lunchbox. "You wanna half this?" She snaps the lit off the box, holding up the sandwich.
"Sure" she hands me half a PB&J "you knew we were coming out here?" I ask gesturing the sandwiches. We only decided on coming up here by text during 5th period.
"This is my lunch. I sort of forgot to eat it." I look at her disoriented and hand the sandwich back.
"I thought we said no skipping meals"
"I didn't skip." She says defensively. "I postponed." She finishes with a giggle.
We talk about going to see a movie tonight but we decide on watching one at mine. Bronwyn's been to mine before, she's never stayed over and we haven't necessarily sealed the deal. But U don't mind waiting, it's only been a few months since we got back together and I'm enjoying spending time with her. Who am I kidding, I'm dying inside. Maybe tonight is the night?
POV Bronwyn
I stare at myself in my mirror. I'm wearing a plaid skirt with over the knee socks, a white open collar shirt. I stand looking at myself for a second before unbuttoning the shirt and changing into a simple black dress. I put a denim jacket over the top. I slip my phone into the pocket and skip downstairs. I slip on my black healed boots. My mom asks me where I'm going and i tell her I'm sleeping at Addisons. I don't actually plan on sleeping at Nates but if I'm back early I can just say Addy didn't feel well.
I just in my car and set off driving the opposite way to Addisons house. Im super nervous, after all I have every intention of sleeping with Nate tonight. He doesn't know but when I suggested watching a movie at his I new what I was getting myself into. I sit in my parked car outside Nates house for a few seconds. I pull down the mirror and put on some lip balm. I spray my neck with perfume and then send Nate a text I'm outside. I do that so his dad doesn't answer the door if I knock. I get out my car and start walking up Nates driveway. The door opens before I'm there and Nates tall muscular figure appears. I go inside and up to his room I take my shoes off and place them next to the door. I sit on his bed like I've done dozens of other time, but this time is different.
POV Nate
Bronwyn is led on my bed. She's flipping through tv channels. I'm nervous even though I've been here a thousand times, Bronwyn on my bed, me getting my hopes up and then them being shattered by her saying 'it's late, Id better go'.
I shut my door and then walk over to sit next to her on the bed. I can tell she's nervous because she's flicking past all her favourite movies. I take her hands in mine and she looks at me. I kiss her softly "do you want me to pick" I take the remote.
She takes it back "what do you can pick a movie that terrifies me to my core. No way. It's my turn." She giggles and she turns to sit on her knees. She looks at me because I didn't laugh. I'm so intoxicated by her I grab her neck and pull her in to kiss me. She moves her leg over to straddle me. I run my hands through her hair and down her back until I reach her waist. I don't go any further because I don't know if she wants to. But I feel her tugging act my t shirt. I take it off and flip her around so I'm on top.
A/N this isn't a smut story so I'm gonna skip that bit.
POV Bronwyn
I wake up in Nates bed for the first time ever. I'm wearing one of his t shirts. I'm lying in his arms. In this exact moment. I am content. I'm so happy I waited and happy I got to be with him. I lay thinking about how happy I am until I feel Nate move and groan. I turn around so I'm facing him. He wraps his arms abound me and holds me tight. "Last night was fun" he smiles.
"Last night was amazing" I reply.
He kisses me on the forehead and I know this is exactly where I'm meant to be.
