"Move it or lose it, slowpokes!" I called as I zoomed between two joggers on my skateboard. I was the best (and fastest) skater at Canterlot High. I won the Canterlot Junior Skateboarding championship 3 years in a row, and I plan on winning again next month. If I win, I'll be the first girl, actually first person, to win 4 years in a row. That's the highest honor, considering the fact that you have to be in High School to participate in the competition. I glanced back at the pathway, only to see a familiar head of curly purple hair, bobbing up and down, only a few yards away.
"Rarity! Look out!" I shouted, hoping that she'd get the message and move. Everything went by in a flash. The next thing you know, I'm hearing this,
"Ow, Rainbow Dash! You scratched my new shoes!" She whined.
"Sorry, Rarity, but in all fairness, I did try and warn you."
"Ugh, you and your little hooligan sport. Why can't you be into something a little less...gruesome."
"As much as I care for your opinion," I said sarcastically, "I must decline. I'm practicing for the Championship. The prize money is unbelievable! It's $1000, plus if I win 4 years in a row, that's enough to get a scholarship to any sport college. I might even get to be in magazines."
"Well, you'd do better if you looked like a civilized human being." She looked me up and down. I have to admit one thing, I did not look like a winner. Maybe she was right.
