TW:blood, thalassophobia, and body horror

Calvin looked out the window seeing it's night before standing up, and opening the window letting the cool breeze of the air fill his room. His blonde hair that was in braids waved by the breeze. He looked at the ocean getting almost getting hypnotized by the ocean like an unseen force calling him to go to the ocean. His mind started to race with ideas of the cults that would worship the water Eldritch being, he unknowingly was already getting ready to go there. He was in jeans, a white pride jacket, some booty shorts, squid socks, and some blue shoes. He started to 5 km walk to the Creva Bay.

After an half an hour, he stood on the black sands of the bay, looking out into sea. The wind started to pick up as a mist started to roll in. "Huh that's weird" he commented looking around noticing weird people chanting to his left near the rocky area. He couldn't tell what they were saying, and decided to step closer in order to hear what their chanting.

He took off his shoes and socks before walking closer. As he got closer the more he began to notice more things wrong with the people. While the words were not a language he knows, he knew what they generally were saying based off context clues. It seemed like they were supporting a sea god of some sorts, but some of them had deformities, one had a tentacle for an arm, one had a crab claw for a hand, and the last on had a shark fin on their back. Calvin muttered "must be the Eldritch water being cult".

He stopped after they were around two yards away from him, he looked to the ocean feeling like something was watching him through the water. He was deep in his thoughts that he didn't realize the people had surrounded him making sure he could see the crystal blue water. He snapped out of his trance and noticed the mist was just hitting the bay. He walked towards the water and sat down letting the waves hit his toes sending a chill up his spine before calming down. He could feel something touch his back, and due to that he turned around to face whoever touched him, but there was nothing. Yet he could see someone was in-fact there by the footprints in the sand. He thought quickly and went in the water about waist high so he could hear someone get in the water and turn to see them. He faced away from the bay and closed his eyes so he could better tell the sounds around him.

After five minutes of waiting, nothing happened, but he did feel a slight tickle on his left leg. He thought nothing of it so he opened his eyes before looking around and on him finding nothing out of the ordinary. He sighed in relief before going back to the bay though life had other plans because a riptide had formed and dragged him down into open water far from the safety of the bay. Before he was dragged he got one breath of air before being dragged into the depths of the sea. While he was able to hold his breath for a while, the pressure caused him to release it after about two minutes. He took a gulp of water, his lungs stinging as saltwater entered his lungs making him cough and gasp breathing in more water, and after a few seconds his vision became blurry and his head felt lighter as he began to blackout. He tried desperately to get up to the surface, but to no avail.

As his vision became darker and darker as he sank, he gave up and blacked out. His last thoughts were "huh I guess the water has swallowed me whole and is dragging me down into the abyssal void to never be seen again"
