This is an AU where the current 3rd years are 1st years at karasuno. And Daichi is the father to Hinata.

Aiko left as soon as he was ready to go home..I didn't even get to ask what his name was. He is my responsibility. I have a child, so young. I haven't even started high school yet.
(3rd POV)
Daichi got home with his mom, and his son in a carrier. Daichi looked at his mom with worry in his eyes. "You will do great Sweetie..I know you will" His mom gives him a warm, reassuring smile. "Its my fault though..if I wasn't so stupid i wouldn't have this huge responsibility so young!" Daichi set his son down on the couch next to his mom. "Daichi, it's not your fault, Aiko put the drug in your drink, you couldn't have known.." Daichi's mom picks the baby up and rocks him. "What should his name be Daichi?" His mom says as she rocks him, as well as shushing him to keep him asleep. "I don't know I never thought about it..." daichi pushes his sons' bright orange hair back. "Hinata maybe? It means sunshine and I think it's perfect considering his hair.." daichi's mom smiles at him "Hinata is perfect." "Then it's settled, Hinata aiko sawamura." Daichi's mom looked at him questioningly. "Why Aiko?" Daichi took Hinata from his Moms' arms. "Because even though she left, she's still his mom. He needs some sort of connection to her." Daichi looked at his bright orange haired son and smiles. "I'm proud of you, Daichi. You've grown up." Daichi's mom Wipes a tear from her eyes. "What am I going to do about school?" Daichi says as he rocks hinata in his arms. "I'll take care of him during school, but you'll need to take him when you have after school practice, because I'll be at work by then. Luckily he'll be old enough by the time that rolls around." Daichi sets hinata down in the carrier, as he nods. Hinata opens his eyes and smiles as his father. Daichi looks back at him with his mom. "Daichi he has your eyes.." His mom says as she pats Daichi's back. Daichi let's put an airy laugh out of his nose, and picks the carrier up taking Hinata to his nursery. "Gosh I hope this little man grows up to play volleyball.." as Daichi's mom looks at the walls, covered in volleyball decals.

"Haha, yeah.. me too" Daichi says as he puts Hinata in his crib. He kisses Hinata on the forehead, turns on the lullaby music, turns out the lights. Before Daichi walks out he looks as his sleeping ray of sunshine, and says. "Dream well Hinata..I love you, and I'll never leave you." And closes the door.
