"Woah!" BBR turned, quickly recognizing the figure in front of them. "Well, of course not, sir!" He tugged the bandages tightly and tied them off, causing Grimm to give a small ack! as they shot a glare. It'd been quite the past few hours- they were sleep deprived and a sting of pain was shooting through their side, like lightning striking. In all honesty, they did want to go home. Xe was just too curious to let this end now, despite the want for rest making their eyes heavy.

The creature before them was... well, interesting to say the least. A pair of mighty antlers crowned above them, branching out like the webbings of a little white lie. Three eyes shone from the brush, almost iridescent in the lack of light, staring down at them. Four hooves trotted over, revealing an acorn shade of brown fur coating the creature.

"You two are going to get yourselves killed at this rate."

"Pardon, sir?"

The Stag hurried to them, seeming slightly urgent. "You two are loud. And that human is hurt. You can smell the blood, can't you?"

BBR grimaced slightly. "Yes, I smell it."

"You two need to get out. I'm sure you've drawn attention to something you don't want to see. You're going to get hurt." The Stag nudged at them both. "Come now, you must return to your proper places-!"

BBR hoisted Grimm into her arms, nodding off understanding. Even with this being the first time BBR had met this human, or any human in general, he didn't want them hurt. Just the mere thought had them shake their head slightly- they couldn't stand the idea. There was a certain sense of... of alarm, of a need to get them to safety.

The feeling behind her was urgency. It nipped and clawed at her ankles, begging them to go faster, to leave.

BBR held the human to their furred chest. Grimm sputtered at the furry tuft in their face, but didn't complain (atleast not about that). "You're nutsy if you think I'm just going home! I've seen so much now- what was that place? What out here would be out to get me?"

BBR simply hushed them. "Where's your home? Oh cheese, oh cheese..."

...How did this beast know what cheese was?

Pah, doesn't matter right now.

Grimm gave a sigh of utter defeat. There was no convincing these two, was there? Xe might as well give in. "Fine. I live down the mountain."

"Finally, thank you!" BBR almost shouted. Stag poked the furred entity in the back, urging him on.

They both felt the presence. It hung in the air, ringing in their minds like an awful siren.

"Alright, Alright, I'm going."

The three trekked down the mountain, careful with each and every step. Bright eyes (and a half dead flashlight) illuminated their path, and with each and every step the sense of dread began to alleviate, setting a calm amongst the group. What a motley crew! A stubborn teenager, a beast from the ravine, and a seemingly powerful deer-creature.

By the time the stumbled upon the house, BBR was complaining on how her feet hurt.

Grimm sighed. "You're the one who was so dead-set on carrying me."

"You would've drowned if I-"

"Both of you, quit bickering. Get inside, enough nonsense."

An idea crossed Grimm's mind. A good one, maybe not, but an idea nonetheless. Instead of leaving and nearly being mauled to satisfy their curiosity- why not let their monster friend in? It wouldn't kill, right? Or, they sure hoped it wouldn't.

They would let the monster in.

"Hey..." They trailed the words out in a sweet tone, trying to be convincing. "Y'know, the lock on my door is broken... and I don't really have much protection for myself..."

Stag could see where this bullshit was going. Read xem like a fucking book.

"...I will stay with you." Stag said hesitantly.

"Well you can't just- I- well-" BBR struggled to get the words out. "I'm staying too, in that case!"

"It's settled, then." Grimm said matter-of-factly, as if sealing the deal on their words. "Come inside!"

This was going to be a long night.
