A 10 year old Alexa Holland, and a 10 year old Skylar Brooks, wearing their pajamas, are in the living room, wearing their pajamas, laying on blankets with another blanket covering them.
Skylar hears Alexa crying softly to herself and sits up straight. "Alexa?"
Alexa looks at Skylar, tearfully. "I want my Daddy."
Skylar gives Alexa her teddy bear to comfort her. "You can keep it."
Alexa gently wipes her tears away with her pajama long sleeve. And gently holds Skylar's teddy bear. Skylar takes her blanket and lays down in front of Alexa.
The two best friends exchange small smiles.

In Alexa's apartment, a 24 year old Alexa is holding the teddy bear that Skylar gave her to comfort her.
"I have Faerie powers." Alexa says.
"Yeah. Sorry I didn't tell you. Ms. Holland wanted you to focus on college." Skylar says.
"It's okay. We'll talk about Faerie stuff later. Do you wanna go out?" Alexa asks.
"Yeah." Skylar says.

Alexa and Skylar are sitting at the bar counter, eating bowls of gumbo with spoons.
"Mmm. This gumbo is good. Thanks, Camille." Alexa says, eating a small spoonful of gumbo."
"You're welcome, Alexa." Camille says.
"Hi, Camille. I'm Skylar Brooks, Alexa's best friend. Nice to meet ya." Skylar says.
"Nice to meet you too, Skylar. And you can call me "Cami"." Camille says.
"Okay." Skylar says.
As Alexa eats her gumbo, she manages to see Klaus, sitting at a round table, drinking bourbon. Klaus manages to see her. Alexa looks away from him.
