I made it home about eight hours before everyone else. It gave me time to unpack and destress myself from everything that had happened. I was still trying to wrap my head around things that happened. I even watched the video that Kent took of me and Travis. Well, yes, there was something there. It was beautiful and unexplainable. I had promised Kent I would text him so I finally did.
Hey you, I made it home. I apologize for not texting sooner. I got busy as soon as I got home. Talk soon. ~J
Throwing my phone back onto my bed, I went back to unpacking my clothes. Getting frustrated with my clothes, I decided to go take a long, hot bath. I drew the bathwater and threw some Epsom salt in it. Stripping out of my clothes, I slid down into the water to close my eyes. I took a deep breath and let it out. I heard my phone go off, so I picked it up. Kent was facetiming me. Well, crap.
It hit the answer button and waited for the screen to pop up. His face popped up on my screen and he smiled.
"What could you possibly want," I asked looking at him.
"To look at your face," he said with a chuckle.
"Well, you see it."
"And I see you're in the tub."
"Yes, I am. I'm trying to destress myself.""How was your flight?"
"It was okay. I had to upgrade myself and pay out the ass because I changed my flight."
"You didn't tell me that," he said, almost fussing at me.
"Kent, don't."
He made a noise at me.
"Did you make it home?"
"I did.""Good."
"So, when are you signing your contract?"
"I checked my emails, and we have an appointment with our agent tomorrow at ten."
"That's quick."
"Yes, it is. When do rehearsals start?"
"I'm not sure. I have to check my emails," he said with a chuckle.
"I'll have to find us a dance studio if Poppy hasn't done that already."
"Maybe she has."
"Poppy is a kick ass agent, I'm sure she has."
"Journey, are you home?!"
"Oh, that's Luna, let me get off of here.""Okay. Text me later."
"I will," I said and ended the call. "I'm in the bathroom!"
Moments later, the bathroom door was opening for Luna to walk in.
"What the hell girlfriend?!"
"Well, hello to you too."
"What time did you leave?"
"I got off the ship at five this morning."
"What? Why?"
"I didn't want to be there anymore."
"Did someone help you?"
"Yes, Kent helped me get off the ship and waited with me until my Uber showed up."
"Travis came knocking at my door this morning asking where you were. I told him I didn't know."
"Oh well."
"And there goes that wall," she said as she slid down beside the tub onto the tile floor.
"We have to be at Poppy's office at ten in the morning."
