Minho closed the door gently, mindful of not making too much noise as he prodded to the kitchen and put the bag of lavender delights on the counter with an exhale. He leaned against the refrigerator, kneading his shoulders to relive the slight ache.
"Hsshh. No, don't move too much!" He heard an extremely concerned voice coming from his room. Minho raised an eyebrow in question and slowly headed towards the source.
"I am gonna fall!" A shriek followed.
"No you are no- lix be careful!" The same voice whispered.
Minho rushed to the room at this and opened the door.
Chan was crouching on the Couch along with Innie and Lix, both of them sitting on the armsets and clinging to him like Koalas.
They all looked at him with wide doey eyes, surprised at the sudden but a welcome intrusion.
Everyone stared at each other for a few minutes before Innie shouted in his baby voice "The floor is the lava dad!"
Minho's eyes widened comically as he jumped on the other couch with a shriek of his own. "Why didn't you tell me earlier!" He asked, bringing his hand on his chest.
"Atleast you are breathing." Lix squeaked as he tried to stand on the arm set. Minho eyed him warily ready to catch the small devil in case he ends up tripping. Lix inched closer to the end of the arm set, stretching his tiny arms.
"I wanna be in you arms daddy." He whispered, eyes wide and lips curling into a toothless grin, so that Chan couldn't hear the traitorous words escaping from his mouth. Chan held his laugh at his failed attempt, trying to hold down himself from cooing.
Minho raised his eyes with an amused smile. "Really?" He whisper asked.
Felix nodded, eyes darting around the room and then fixing on minho as he extended his arms. Minho grinned and took him in his embrace, wrapping his arms gently around his small frame. He glanced at Chan who was grinning fondly at them.
"Innie. Lix." Chan said after a moment as they got comfortable on the couch. "Guess who is gonna come over to take you both to amusement park?"
Both of them looked at Chan curiously, Lix vibrating with energy while innie shook his head Jocosely.
"It's Seungmin and Hyunjin uncle." The kids squealed at this, happy to hear the name of their favourite duo and immediately got off the couch.
"Wait what about the game?" Minho asked but stood up as well, walking towards the other couch and ungracefully plopped on Chan's lap who let out a grunt, scoffing lightly before pulling Minho closer, his hands around his waist.
"It's okay. The game can wait. Uncle can't." Lix said at the same time Innie said "we all know it's not real. I was just playing for lix. Oh and dad." And then rushed to their room to fetch their bags, which were already packed with water bottle and the wizard cardboard game they had been whining about for weeks.
Chan laughed at their answer and proceeded to pepper Minho's face with feather like kisses. Minho hummed and melted in his warm embrace.
"So how was your day love? Chan asked as he slowly massaged his shoulders.
"Tiresome. Seunghoon is getting on my nerves and i couldn't even get an Americano today." He answered and turned around so that they were both facing each other.
"Yours?" Minho asked nuzzling near his neck, trying to melt into him.
"Pretty good. I got to spend my free day with those two. And since you are here it's gonna get even more better." He finished that with a wink.
Minho rolled his eyes playfully at that before capturing Chan's lips with his. Chan reciprocated, tightening his grip on his waist and brought the other hand around his neck to pull him closer.
Someone squeaked from the corner indicating they were not alone and both parted away to glance at innie who had his hands over his eyes.
"I didn't see anything." He sing songed.
"Brat." Minho uttered under his breath as he rushed to capture him in a hug and spin him around.
