"Everyone ready?" I asked.
My 6 friends nodded, and we stepped up to the counter.
"What can I get you all today?" The cashier asked.
"We'll all try a medium Vanilla Cream Cold Brew," I said.
"Sounds good," she smiled, tapping in the order.
We paid and while 5 of my friends gathered at a table, the other 2, Kaylee, and I waited to grab the drinks.
Once they were made, we sauntered over to our table, passing out the drinks.
My best friend, Ella, was sat quietly reading and drinking her coffee while the rest of us were chatting away.
"This coffee is so good," I smiled.
"I feel weird," Mason complained, he never really was one for coffee.
"Guys... one of these coffees is a Horcrux," Ella panicked, looking up from her book.
"What?!" Jacob screamed.
"Mason, did you say you feel weird?" I asked.
He nodded, "Oh no," I said.
"So you're telling me I have bloody Harry Potter inside of me??!!" He shouted, standing up from the table.
"It doesn't work like that," Kaylee laughed.
I giggled as a barista made his way to our table, "Is everything alright?" He asked.
"No! Everything is not alright I have a bloody Horcrux in me!" Mason yelled.
I couldn't help but laugh a bit, "We're fine, thank you."
"We have to kill the Horcrux," Noah said.
"You are not bloody killing me, forget that, I shall live on," Mason said, nonchalantly.
"Trust me, Mason," I said calmly, raising my wand.
"Nope, if you're gonna spell me then no way," he chuckled.
"Trust me," I rolled my eyes.
"Trust her," Ella agreed.
"Fine, but only cause you're cute," he rolled his eyes.
My face contorted in disgust at his attempt to flirt with me, this was not the time.
I bravely flicked my wand in the shape of a lightning bolt, and said, "Avada Kedavra!"
Mason fell in front of us as the green light flew from my wand.
"What did you just do?" Emily cried.
"I- I- I don't know, it should have only killed the Horcrux not him!" I panicked.
He sat up calmly, "Just joking."
"You idiot!" I laughed, slapping his arm.
We all stood up from the ground, and sat back down at our table, continuing to drink our coffee.
Mason had forgotten the drink was a Horcrux and had taken another sip, causing the whole scene to repeat itself at least 3 times before I took the coffee away from him."This will be an interesting story to tell in the future," Kaylee chuckled.
We all laughed about it and hit our cups together in the air saying 'cheers,' while Mason pouted.
And that my friends, is how our first visit to Tim Hortons went.
Maybe it's Canadian for a reason... and perhaps Hogwarts students should stay at Hogwarts.A/N
