𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐎𝐧𝐞: 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐥

Ash, Smoke, Fire

Screams filled the air as villagers ran away holding their children. The strong raging fire consumed the temples as the smell of fresh blood poisoned the air making it almost unbreathable. Not only was the nine tail fox rampaging against the hidden leaf but a mysterious figure had been hunting and killing everyone from the Kaneshiro clan. Bodies of men, women, and young children mutilated were all over the streets of the small hidden clan.

In the shadows a woman looked at her daughter one last time, tears streaming down her pale cheeks. Her long raven black hair blew against the wind.  As she heard from a distance the nine tailed beast destroyed everything in its path. The fierce fire that consumed her village her sweat glistened  reflecting the fire outside. The baby cooed sucking on her mother's finger, making her mother smile softly.

The mother's eyes lingered a little longer before kissing her daughter's forehead. She slowly lowered her child down into a basket covering the baby with a handmade quilt she had made with the clan's symbol on it. She stroked her child's head one last time before opening a piece of wood from the floor leaving little space for the child to hide in. The loud screams of death snap the mother out her thoughts as she quickly and carefully sets the basket into the floor. She looked at her baby one last time kissing her tiny forehead before giving her a necklace of a red ruby. She smiles still crying.

"Be strong Raith... Mommy won't be there like I wish I could be but remember I am always here...Always." The woman choked out. BANG! The doors to the temple break down making the woman gasp as she quickly puts back the wooden panels leaving the child in the darkness. She covers the panels with a rug so that no one could detect the hidden area. She quickly gets up grabbing her Kunai jumping backwards preparing for a fight.

"Sonia.. You've grown weak. What a disappointment."

A deep dark sinister monotone voice speaks out from the darkness. The woman who was now known as Sonia grits her teeth looking into the darkness in a fighting stand, she stood silent waiting for the enemy to attack first. Her kunai shook slightly in her hand as she glared into the darkness before speaking.

"Show yourself coward! What can you possibly gain by destroying a village of innocents? What the hell is your goal!" She shouted out. A foot slowly steps out into the shadows revealing a tall figure in a pure white cloak that was stained with the blood of the villagers. The voiced chuckles coming more into view before suddenly a quick flash blinds Sonia for a moment making her stagger a bit.

Before suddenly throwing up blood. Sonia looks down seeing a dagger pierce her heart. Her eyes horrified by the scene she hears the figure chuckle again. Sonia's vision begins to blur as she falls down, her face hits the ground right above the wooden panels she had hid her child. She begins to see stars slowly blacking out, slowly fading away as the figure walked slowly their footsteps making the wood creak beneath them.

The figure kneels next to Sonia's body whispering in her ear.

"The Ōtsutsuki Thank you for your sacrifice."

The figure slowly draws out their blade holding over Sonia's head and with one movement, the blood of Sonia slowly trickles down into the floor panels. The red liquid dripping into the floor panels the young child cries out hearing the commotion.

"What's this?" The figure kicked Sonia's body away making her head roll away into the moonlight. The figure rips the rug away, continuing to hear the child cries. Stabbing at the panel lightly scraping the child's head with the blade the figure lifts it up seeing the child in the basket. The figures' shoulders move as they let out a laugh. Looking at the crying baby the figure leans down "My my You even failed at protecting your only child." Their hand hovering just over the child's face when suddenly the red ruby stone glows up.

"-What?" The figure gasps out in surprise before the stone reveals itself as a seal. Slowly sucking in the figure into the child sealing them in the baby. In that moment the figure cried out in rage realizing they had missed a very simple but crucial part of the equation: a woman's love for her village and a mother's love for a child. Sonia was willing to not only sacrifice herself for her village but her daughter's soul just to capture them.  "I will never make this mistake again." the figure said before it was completely sealed within the child. As the infant cried out a black seal appeared over her stomach changing the fate of her life forever.
