Forever and Always

Chapter 2: the Tree

I wake to a soft voice.

"James? James wake up. " She said softly.

" When did you get here?" I said sleeply.

" Just now. " I look at my phone for the time. I've been asleep for about 20 minutes.

She picked a spot right next to me on my right. She sitting with both knees up, wrapping her arms around them.

"So how are you?" she asked casually.

" I'm fine " when I answered, she noticed my hand.

" What did you do to your hand?"

"Oh, nothing it's fine"

she pulled out a red bandana, and tied it around my hand.

"There no need for that." I explained

"Well keep it anyways" she said with a smirk.

"Thanks"

"So what happened?" she asked.

"Punched a wall" I answered and she chuckled.

Things had settled down right after. We kept scooting closer and closer. Our hands touched. Both in shock, we look in each others eyes. She smiles so brightly I thought and she blushed. Lost in each others eyes, we move closer. Our lips were about the meet but then I got a shiver down my spine. I look over to my left and seen a small black shape fading out into the trees.

"Hey do you see that?!" I asked

"There's nothing there" she answered.

So again we are just sitting.

" So, how's your home like? "I asked

" I live with my dad, I had a sister but she pasted away a year ago." she said sadly.

"Oh, sorry to hear about that" I put my arm around her, holding her tight with comfort.

"It's getting a little hot" she claimed. I slid my arm off so she can take off her jacket. I watched as the jacket slithered off her shoulders. She folded it so gracefully

Come to think of it, that's a really good way of describing her. Graceful. Beautiful. Pretty. I think by now she noticed that I'm getting lost in her eyes.

"Hey, come here" she says.

Her words beckon me to come closer.

I move closer And lean toward her. She places her lips on my cheek and kisses soft and passionatly. I sat there baffled as she stood up.

"Wanna take a walk" she asks.

"Yeah, sure. " I answered with a big smile.

Trailing through the woods, my love for her grows even stronger. I fall behind a little. i feel a shiver down my back Again. I loom around to see a dark gray wolf look dog. kind of familiar.

She was skipping and being rather cute. At the end of the trail, we get to an odd place. A small crossing bridge arching over a dying riverside. We decided to sit down.

"James, do you do drugs?" asks Alice.

"We'll not really" I replied

"Well want to try something?" She asked.

"What do you have"

"here. Take these." She pulls out a pill bottle and pours four small capsules into her hand.

" What are they? "

" just Take them. " she ordered as she lifted them to my mouth. I hesitated but I swallowed them. They went down rough because of the lack of water.

" See not so bad " she said while she moved closer. I had noticed that she took five pills from the corner of my eye.

20 minutes later I find myself looking out in the forest, watching the winding river.I feel just like a little kid, twirling around hours on end getting dizzy.A little white bunny scampered over the stream. Then a black one. And again a white one. Then another black one. White one yet again. Black then white. Over and over. It Continued for awhile. I was hypnotized by it. it started to get faster in till turned in to a blur.

"Hey, you feeling alright? " Alice said, stumbling over her words.

" Yeah. What, wait what? "I say trying to focus. I look at her, she looks more beautiful then ever. Like she was glowing. We lock eyes and we started Kissing. She started moving on top of me. I'm on the ground now with her on top of me, kissing. I couldn't think straight. I couldn't help my self. My hands stated to wonder.

Alice start to breath heavy and starts to move back and forth. My hands on her ass,lying on the cold ground. There must of have Been sticks or something underneath me cause my back hurt. But I'm so out if it and in the mood I don't really notice.

I come to my Senses and set her up. She seemed kind of up set.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing I just...want you."she said still stumbling.

I figured that it was just cause she was high.i get up so I could help her up. She wasn't only stumbling over her words. We went down by the bank. I dip my hand in the water. It never felt so strange. She laughs hysterically.

"What?" I question her.

"Nothing you look so funny" she start to giggle some more.

My vision is a little distorted. we wonder around some more its starting to get a little dark. Now sober I say

"I think it's time for me to leave"

"Yeah, your right."

We strolled to the spot were you get out. We're on a street now.

"Bye, see you tomorrow" she says as she pulls out her phone. She calls her dad to come pick her up.

I give her a big hug. Her warmth was so comforting. I released. I looked at my watch to see that it was 8 o'clock.

"Got to go" I said

"All right, but hey there a home football game next Wednesday, wanna go?" she ask.

"Yeah that would be great"

That made me happy cause I felt like she actually likes me.so I grabbed her hand to pull her closer. She was surprised. Then I kissed her. It was the best feeling in the world. She squeezed my hand tight from excitement.

Her face got really hot. It was so cute. I lingered the kiss for a bit. I pulled away to look at her. Her face was redder then roses. There was a car coming.

"I think that's my dad" she claimed.

"Ok, bye then. See you tomorrow." I started to walk and waved.

I saw her get in the car. I continued to walk. I turn down my street. I see my house, my moms on the front porch. She hasn't noticed me yet.i go through the back ally instead. Open the back gate, and sneak though the back yard.

Then I walk in side....
