Forever and Always

Chapter 3: lupus

I enter the kitchen, I go in the fridge pull out some ham and made a sandwich. I walk over to the computer in the other room Ella was on it, laughing playing some kids game. I continued to the living room then the stairs. As I'm rushing up the stair I hear my mom walk in and say,




"That's right! You better run!"




I'm like "oh shit" and go in my room. I

take I deep breath. Let it all out, then jump onto my bed. I search for my MP3 player and head phones. Browsing through the music I think I'm the mood for and just lay back... just thinking of her.




Man I was just so happy. Like more then i've ever have been. Well I guess that's not saying much. Cheesing like a little kid, I ponder on what the future would be like with her and fall asleep.




I'm rudely woken up by my mom.




"Where the fuck where you!?"




"Mom! Calm down. I was just-"




She cut me off "Tell me where you were!"




"I just taking a walk." I say as I sit my self up




Flaunting her arms around "Really!? For five hours!?"




"Yeah I went to the park" I said In my defense.




"Ok...your grounded! give me your phone!?" She demanded




I handed over my phone after I check the time. It's was 9:47.I place it in her hand, and she snatches it, And walks out. The stench of cigarettes still lingered. Feeling tired I just lay down and fall back to sleep.




Later I after I woke up I went down stairs to the smell of food. Pork chops and mashed potatoes. I grab a plate and pick up the food I want and sit at the dinner table. I start to cut up the pork, but I glanced out to my mom glaring at me.




It was weird. She was sitting on the couch with Ella. They both had plates, half gone. They are watching tv, my mom turn back to it and starts laughing. Ella is just cheesing, I continue to eat.




I walk back in to the kitchen to grab some BBQ sauce and pepper. My mom walks in and makes a comment




"don't eat to much'




I ignored it. I peered out the window, it was pretty dark by now. I go out the back door to finish eating. I'm sitting out side with the plate on my lap. picking at it. i cant really see it so its kinda weird eating but it doesn't matter. the cold air was really nice.




im done with my food i set the plate on the ground. i our dog come out the door and come towards me. i pat the old dog's head. He quickly noticed the plate and starts to lick it. i try to pick it up, away from him but he wouldn't depart from it.




i forget about it. so i look up. i see the night sky. such a clear view. and what was odd was i could see the lupus constellation. lupus means mad dog, wolf or something like that. which was weird cause i didn't think you could see it at this time. it was so pretty. the only thing was that was wrong was the damn dogs loud noises.




it had no use for the plate so it went back inside, so i grabed the plate and did the same.i place the plate in the sink, no need to wash it was the dog already did that. i look around the house to see what was going on. it was the same seen besides mom and Ella didn't have plates and the dog was sitting else were.




my mom yells at me to move out of the way as i walk by. i go back to my room. my room is not as cold as the out side but its still good. can smell the is going to rain. and about a few minutes sure enouoh it starts raining. the immediate rush of a cold breeze that give you goose bumps.the door shakes a little from the wind. the sound of rain drowing out everything else. it was so blissful




falling asleep to to the rain is such a relief. so calming. ,makes your dream so much more enjoyable.




I appeared in the same spot in the woods I was with alice earlier, but It was different. it seemed more Erie and had a thick fog, and I couldn't see more then about 10 feet in any directions.




What I do see though is something moving between the trees.

"Hey who's there?" I call out




I walk toward the figure as It comes clearer. the shadow comes out from behind the tree. I realized who it was and rushed up to her.




"What are you doing here Alice!?" I question




She does not respond. instead she grabs my wrist and pulls me. we are running, but it seemed faster then either of us where capable of. she stop abruptly. we are by this den looking hole in side this really steep hill near the river. Alice still silent. she guides my in it.




I was shocked to see a litter of cubs. all different colors. one black, one dark gray, light gray, brown, one with a mix auburn. then the last one really caught my eye. it was pure white. Alice gazed at them still ever speechless.




We were down really low. so I tried to picked one but then I Heard a growling. turn out that the mother was there the whole time. but she was also pitch black so it was hard to see her.




She gets up, leaves fall off her. she approaches me. I'm really scared my hearts racing. I should run away. Alice is just as scared. she squeezed my arm that she clang to.




But all the dog did was nudge me, in a way kind of like cats do when they show affection. I place my hand on her head she was so soft.




Then I feel something on my back, but I noticed that everything in front of me was moving away. or more of I was moving away from them. I was being dragged me something. I was horrified. I was dragged out of the tunnel in seconds. My back hits a tree behind me.




I fling up out of my bed. now awake, I quickly remember everything, in a cold sweat and I'm breathing heavy. Hearts pounding as if I'm still scared. I look over to the clock. it 5:30 the sun is about to come up soon.




So I might as well get ready. I lift myself out of bed and make my way to the closet. I grab a usual outfit. I try to make sense of my dream but I just couldn't. it was weird I don't usually have dream, even when I do I don't remember much. but this one was different.
