10. Year

Bangtan was happily walking up to their home, they had finally started getting along with each other well, on the other hand, a guy was missing his companions with whom he shared a bond, stronger than that of brothers.

They entered the living room to meet JUNGKOOK who was scrolling on his phone. And there was only one thing which came across their mind How the hell he looked so damn good even in casuals!?

"Oh, you guys are back. I bought yall ice-creams and Seokjin hyung the other things are in the kitchen" He told which formed a smile on their face. Ah that beautiful smiles, JUNGKOOK missed them so much!

Jimin and Taehyung were running to the kitchen only to be pulled back by Seokjin. "Go get washed up and dare not bring your dirty selves into my dear kitchen before that." which made the two pout.

The members took ice-creams according to their preferences and surprisingly everyone got their favourite flavours.

"Jungkook, you knew which flavour we liked? Like for all of us?" Hoseok asked amazed.

"Ofcourse" was heard as a reply in a low tone.

"What about you? Won't you have one?" Tae asked.

"Ah no, being an ice-cream lover it is hard for me to wait for all of you, so I already ate mine." He replied smiling or to be precise, lied.

"I'll start making notes of what all Jungkook likes since his older self can only make us know about it" Seokjin said after finishing his portion making the younger one pass a sheepish grin.

Their choreographer and dance instructor both had some events to attend today so PD nim thought to cancel their dance practice, but Jimin urged him not to do that and they can practice on their own.

Namjoon suggested why not call JUNGKOOK who is probably at the dorms, he has experience of debuting and performing that song for years. He could be a big help. Mr Bang already took his phone number and asked him to come, to which he agreed without hesitating a bit.

His phone is still in the future time but can receive calls from the past. It's just that he can't call back. Jungkook and Sihyuk found this out when they met for the first time.

This is how JUNGKOOK is right now sitting on the floor of their practice room and pointing out the tiny mistakes he sees in the younger BTS practising No More Dream.

Something weird for him was that his younger self was making mistakes since he rarely made mistakes. But it didn't take long for him to understand what was the problem. As the song came to an end and the boys got a break of five minutes, he called out to his younger self.

"Jungkook," he called out, it caught everyone's attention in the room and made the younger afraid.

"Yah, I am the same person as you. I made the same mistakes but don't be scared or nervous in front of your own self."

"How did you-"

"I quit my job," JUNGKOOK said throwing his hands up in defeat. "God knows how hyungs tolerated with me all these years."

A collective sound of snorting & laughter was heard from around the room seeing Jungkook's interaction with himself.

"By the way Jungkook-ssi you still haven't told us from which year you are," Jimin complained.

"Hyung! Don't call me Jungkook-ssi, you make me feel old." He whined. "And as for your question, as I said earlier you need to figure it out," Jungkook said with a mischievous expression.

"I guess we can do that...You said right now older than all of us, right?" Namjoon asked.

"Yup" was the simplest answer that he said stretching a little as he got up.

"Are you thirty years old!?" Taehyung's question made JUNGKOOK choke on air.

"HYUNG!" Surely the maknae was offended.

"Even Seokjin hyung is twenty-" He stopped himself midway before saying the age. "Even Jin hyung hasn't reached his thirties how can I be thirty years old?"

"Sorry, I was just making a guess" Tae said pouting a bit.

"That means you are either 22, 23 or 24" Namjoon said thinking, anyone could visualize the gears turning in his head.

"You tricked me into answering this," Jungkook was surprised by the way they tried to find out. "But I still won't tell the exact year," he announced enjoying the confusion has caused.

"At least we know you are from a year between 2018 & 2021" Suga said.

"That's another thing that I, myself don't know what happened in those years" JUNGKOOK added in a low tone, he is used to muttering things to himself when thinking.

"Since you said years which means at least two years, that means you are either from 2018 or 2019" jungkook concluded.

"When did he say that?" Asked Jimin who was standing the farthest.

"Why do I keep forgetting that even younger me is here?" JUNGKOOK facepalmed himself.

"What do you mean?" Jin asked.

"I mutter phrases when I'm thinking about something. He must have paid attention to what I mumbled or maybe he lip-read me. " JUNGKOOK reasoned to which jungkook giggled.

"We didn't take it seriously when hyung said we need to make notes. Turns out, we seriously needed them," Suga added.
