A/N: I'm back! I really needed to have a break from writing and stress. I have been doing a lot better. If you didn't look at my convo board, you may be really confused, but basically, I wasn't doing very well, what with my mental health and all. I decided to take a break from writing because it was stressing me out so I put all of my books on hold. I am finally doing better so I have decided to update again!

We also have over 3K reads! I know I say this a lot, but I really am grateful for all of my readers. I know that a lot of my updates have been A/Ns but I'm trying to get things published as soon as possible. It's also a little short because it's currently 11 at night here while I'm writing this and I need sleep so...

Enjoy the chapter!

The man continues to talk. "I didn't believe it when they said you were coming." He puts his hands on his hips. Everyone is silent. Nothing makes a sound until the bearded dude continues to talk. "I was up all night just thinking about how me and Gunpei dreamed of this moment." He continues while moving his head around a bunch.

"Ok, dude, I need you to stop moving your head so much." I say. "You're really giving me a headache."

Beard Guy looks guilty almost and I nearly feel bad. Nearly. "I'm sorry little lady. Didn't mean it."

"It's ok." I smile at him and he does that same back to me.

"As I was saying, here's the moment. 28 years, 11 months, and eight failed attempts to get back to the world, and instead, the world comes to me?" He chuckles while I start to look around at the people surrounding us. They don't smile. "Ain't that a crack?"

He looks at the people too. They don't even look back. "They never smile."

"I don't know what you're talking about. They seem fine to me." I comment towards him, watching the people closely as they smile, although it seems to only be at me and no one else.

"They're smiling at you?" He questions incredulously, looking around and gasping in disbelief.

"Umm... yes?" I say unsurely. (Damn, I didn't even know that I knew this many complicated words! I feel so accomplished, like all my years of English have finally paid off)

"Did you crash here?" Mason asks from besides Mr. Brooks.

"Oh!" The man realizes. "Sorry, miss." He salutes at us. "Lieutenant Hank Marlow of the 45th." Hank puts his arm down and continues to talk. "Put the old flight suit on for you." I laugh with him. He points to the group and starts talking yet again. What is this, a movie? Too much talking. "You are more beautiful than a hotdog and a beer at Wrigley Field on opening day." He holds up the shape of what I think is a hotdog and beer in his hands.

I gasp. "You've been there too!" I lower my gun. I don't know why I didn't do that before. I mean, these people seem friendly.

"Yes! I love it at Wrigley Field!"

I stop. "Wait. This one question could make or break our relationship." He nods. "Are you a Cubs fan?" I ask, praying that the answer is no.

"Yes." Hank replies immediately.

"My heart is crushed..." I say sadly, turning to face James and fake crying into his shoulder as he stiffens at the contact. (Let's just say that you are a bit above his chin height. I can't find out how tall he is)

Hank stops like he's thinking. "Wait, you guys are real... right?" He asks us in the most heartbroken voice I have ever heard.

"Well I hope so, otherwise my whole life has been a lie." I speak.

Hank turns to look at The Silent Ones. "I told you. Didn't I tell you?" He asks them. "I said, 'it's fine.'"

"Yeah please stop pointing your weapons at us?" That one earns me a jab in my ribs from James' elbow.

"There we go." Hank breathes out as The Silent Ones (that's what I'm calling them now because... I don't know what they are called) lower their weapons.
