Overhaul walked into the room, grabbed the chain and dragged me out of the room. I walked with him so I wouldn't be getting dragged. He put me in the back of the car and got in. Once we got to another facility he brought me into a ring. Another man was in the ring too. "Rappa, have at her." I could hear the evil smile in Overhaul's voice. "But she's just a kid??" He questioned. Someone came in the ring and took the muzzle off of me. I immediately turned into a person.
The one known as Rappa charged at me, he doesn't want to disappoint Bird Man. I quickly dodged, but he still hit me, I got flung into the wall, part of it broke and cut my face from the top of the right side of my forehead all the way down. As the fight continued I turned into a dragon. "I didn't know I could do this." I said and Bird Man looked excited. The guy in the ring looked almost scared, but then he looked excited. "Finally a fucking challenge!!!" He exclaimed excitedly. I started flapping my little wings and I started to fly. I quickly got the hang of it.
I was flying around quickly, making a tornado type thing in the ring. Rappa was almost unmoving. I coughed and fire came out, I breathed more fire making a fire tornado. Rappa soon became a pile of ash. Bird Man came in the ring with an ungloved hand. He touched the pile and Rappa was restored. I landed and became a person again.
Bird Man had me go up against a lot more people over the next couple of years, injecting me with all sorts of things, most of them not working. I got scars all over my body. I'm now twelve, I think. I lost track of time a long time ago. I've become stronger and angrier. "If I ever see mother again I'll kill her." I said to myself. Overhaul then came in the room. He had a syringe in his hand. "Just one?" He nodded. He ended up moving me to an actual bedroom with a little white haired girl like two years ago. He jabbed me with the syringe and I blacked out.
The next thing I remember is waking up in my bed with mother looking over me and all different memories of my past. I coughed and came back to reality to see Hawks and Tokoyami staring at me. "Hey kid!! You okay?" Hawks said. "Uh, no." I then told them everything that just happened. "So your mother lied?" Tokoyami said grimly. "To protect the Yakuza. I never saw any way to get there. There was also a little white haired girl. I don't know if anything bad ever happened to her. How long was I out of it?" "24 and a half hours." Tokoyami said.
"Damn, so I missed a whole day of heroing?" I chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, we didn't end up really doing anything. We had to make sure you were okay." Hawks said. "I'm the reason you didn't do your job today.." I said lowly. "Well there's still a few hours left of the day. We can train for a little while." Hawks said, trying to reassure me.
