Aella: I never thought I would find something I didn't want to fight, much less look at. A stupid world, no cruel world. But sometimes a cruel world brings light out of the darkness.

I was never liked by some of the kids at my village. I felt like a burden. Until two people came into my life, they taught me how to feel like an actual asset in the games we'd play or when we would have our picnics.

"Allura! Wait up!" I yelled out to my friend. Allura was my age, she was slightly older than me. She'd seem like a weak girl, due to her small stature, but she can pack a punch when it comes to protecting her friends and brothers.

Allura grew up with the same circumstances as me, she lost her parents, and she was left with her brothers, she was lucky enough not to lose a sibling. I lost my sister when weird people and creatures attacked our home. My brother is abroad learning and training for something. People who came to my house said that they couldn't take me.

So I was abandoned, with nothing to defend myself with, plus the trauma of seeing my parents and sister devoured hurt me like a knife to my heart.

Allura giggled and ran back to me, holding my hand like every child would do. "Idiots! Wait up!" A young boy's voice called out.Yuko, another person that came into my life, who taught me the emotions of anger and would often tell me to take my anger out on a wall nearby. He was older by two years. Making me and Allura look up to him, literally. Yuko has a soft looking face, but in reality, he has boiling anger ready to come out. He is the embodiment of bipolar itself.

His parents abandoned him and left him in the care of his aunt, who died of a heart attack, he then went on to move with his grandma, who later died of natural causes, it wasn't confirmed what exactly she died of, but it affected Yuko's personality and character. Allura knew Yuko when she was around the age of 7, and met them at age 9. Within two years of knowing him, he was easy to read like an open book.

We waited for Yuko to catch up, which wasn't very long since he was very athletic.

You'd expect us to be living in poverty, but you're wrong. Very incorrect. Allura's parents were famous slayers, they slayed things called abnormals. Me and Yuko thought Allura was crazy, until she told us to put the pieces together on those creatures that attacked my home. Sure, Allura has her naive moments but she takes advantage of people believing she is naive and rolls with a plan.

Allura lives in a tree house, more like an actual house dangling from a tree. It was proved to be safe for someone to live in since the branches of the tree were 5 feet thick. Since this world is different. In this world that we live in, the majority of the population is born with an ability.

Allura's ability is random, she can use any ability at her disposal, but she can't control it very well. Yuko's ability is fire. Since he is training and is very athletic, he has very good control over his power. My ability is wind and ice manipulation, but I can emit both. Allura uses her levitation ability to hold the house in place.

Yuko is in charge of cooking, Allura cleans and watches her brothers, while I am in charge of laundry, plus the help of Allura's brothers, Pax and Maddox. From what I remember, these two brought joy into the house. They would always listen to Wellerman and would sing it together..
