Abnormal

-Chapter 5-

     *Aella's POV*

'Weird..' Allura runs to the bathroom just when I was about to go after her, I accidentally tap the pot and burn myself. "Dammit.."

Yuko looks over in worry. "You good?" I nod while I cover up the burn and go to the bathroom to see if Allura was okay.

While I waited outside the door, I cooled the burn leaving it a mark. Yuko walks out leaving me alone in the cabin with Allura.

"Hey, 'Lura, are you okay?" I see the door knob turn and see Allura looking down at the ground. "What's wrong?" she looks up at me and says "I had a vision or dream.."

I look at her and ask "What was it about?"She goes blank for a moment before explaining the dream. "It was about you... I-I saw you dying in front of me and, I couldn't do anything..." I look at her and say..

"Look, it was probably a dream, but if it makes you feel better, I won't take any fighting alone unless it's needed, okay?" 

Allura nods her head then says "What is that burning smell?" I sniff and realize I didn't put the fire on low! "MY FOOD!" I rush to the stove and see that the food was burnt.

I hear Allura laughing behind me as I look at it with tears in my eyes and pout.

"My food...got burnt...for the 3rd time.." Allura starts to laugh even more and says "Why don't we go out and hunt?" I clap my hands and say "YES, I'll go get everyone!" She nods as I rush out of the door to look for everyone. I close my eyes and focus my magic in one spot as I start to create wind around me. I start feeling my body lift

 "AELLA?!" I open my eyes and see that I am around 3 feet off the ground. "Calm down don't look down!" I hear Allura yell at me. 'Okay okay...calm down...this isn't so bad right?' I slowly come down and huff as Allura zooms around the cabin and finds everyone.

"Okay, okay guys for this hunt we need to be extra careful!" Allura says while focusing her magic on finding animals. "Also the one to get the less amount of food has to battle someone."

 I quickly look up from the ground and see an innocent smile on her face. She knew very well this would start a big competition, once I heard the whistle I froze everyone on their spot and said "Sorry guys" and with that I giggled and slightly winked at them.

I hear Allura laugh and say "Try again Aella." I ran as fast as I could into the woods but suddenly felt a pinch of pain on my stomach. 'Damn..' I thought to myself. "Too slow!" I look back and see Yuko and Allura neck to neck.

As expected of those two, they are the ones that always seem to escape my ice trap sadly. I jump from tree to tree trying to find a lot of food.

 After what felt like years of hunting I returned to the cabin and see Allura there with Yuko. "Took you long enough." Both of them say while looking at me, "yeah yeah, Iris and your brothers aren't back, so let's not call victory so quick."

  A few minutes later I see Pax come to the cabin with a frog in his hand- "LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" he says while giggling.."Oh that's cool" Allura says while grabbing it and putting it in front of my face. "get that away from me!!" I scream while trying to run away..Iris and Maddox come back and once they are at the cabin we start counting the food.

 "So In first place we have Allura" Iris continues "second place goes to Yuko, third place goes to Aella, fourth place goes to Pax, and fifth place goes to Maddox...and" Iris looks down and says "sixth place goes to me.." Allura claps her hands and says "well looks like our lucky fighter is Iris!"  

All of us get in line, as Allura explains the rules to Iris. "You and your opponent can use your weapon, and power. But you can not make permanent damage. If things get too serious the rest of us will stop the fight instantly. Last thing, you have to stay on the circle, if your opponent gets out of the circle you win but if it's the other way around you lose and have to cook." Allura says smiling as she gets in line.

Iris stands and looks at each other of us, then looks at Yuko for a while. "Your gonna pick Yuko?" Allura says with an eyebrow up. "Uhmm....yes!" me and Allura look at each other and say "GOOD LUCK!" with a smile and thumbs up. "Was it a bad choice?!" Allura shrugs her arms at what Iris ask then Iris looks at me. I look up at the sky then the tree and just smile at her.

Yuko laughs and says "well let's get this fight started."  Pax and Maddox sit on the dock of the cabin while me and Allura stay near the circle just in case. Iris grabs her bow and arrow while Yuko gets his whip. "This is going to be an interesting fight" Allura says while starting the count. I smirk and say "indeed."

Iris gives the first attack while Yuko dodges it real quick ending up near Allura. Iris seems to struggle trying to hit Yuko with her arrows of fire, while Yuko does nothing but dodge.."are you even going to fight?"Iris says while huffing and looking tired already. "It will make things a lot faster if I fight though.." Yuko says while holding his whip out.

Iris gets back into combat position and launches at Yuko while releasing a huge amount of power. Now what I had facing me was a fire tornado which followed Iris as she launched at Yuko. In that moment I cast a cool shield around me to maintain me cool due to my weakness of fire. 

Yuko pulled out his whip and placed fire on it as he grabbed the tornado that was heading towards him behind Iris. The moment Iris reached him Yuko slipped his foot under her and removed his whip from the tornado and grabbed Iris. Iris tried to move but by the time she was able to, she no longer was in the circle but only Yuko standing his ground.

"And the winner is Yuko!"Allura says as she walks over to Iris. "I-" Allura interrupted Iris and said " don't worry atleast you lasted longer than Aella." she said while looking at me and giggling. I smiled nervously and agreed. I clapped my hands and said "Well let's go inside to eat and rest tomorrow is going to be a long day."
