Dancing to your music

Venti is doing he's monthly routine again, playing the flute for Xiao at the place they first met.

Xiao leans against Venti shoulder and close his eyes, appreciating the calming music.

Venti look at him and smile, he ruffle up Xiao hair and kiss his fore head.

He stop playing his flute.
"Xiao would you like to make a contract?" Venti smile.

"Huh?" Xiao didn't expect Venti to suddenly ask for a contract. Plus, he sound like Rex Lapis saying stuff like that.
"What contract" Xiao asked.

"This contract won't bind you, instead it will make you feel freed. It's a contract to seal to soul for eternity, would you like it?" Venti stand up and held out his hand to Xiao.

"Do..you mean" Xiao still don't get what Venti is trying to say as he reach out for Venti hand.

Venti get down on one knee, looking at Xiao, "my title as the god of freedom would have effect on you once this contract is sealed. I can't free you fully since I'm not Rex Lapis himself but, it will ease your pain"

'your karmic debt will also be shared with me, but I have done that since the first time we met' Venti thought. He would never say that out loud, Xiao might panic.

Finally knowing what's going on, Xiao laugh loudly. "You sound like Rex Lapis" he said.

Venti is mesmerized by the sound of his laughter and turn into a blushing mess. "Oh come one! I spend a lot of time preparing that..." He pout.

Xiao pull Venti hand so that he will stand up again. Honestly, the little speech Venti gave struck Xiao heart and he's truly happy about it. Feeling overwhelmed, Xiao pull Venti into a tight hug.

"So...is that a yes?" Venti murmur while he got squeezed by Xiao hug.

"I could never say no to you" Xiao sigh.

Venti eyes lit up, breaking the hug and putting his hand on Xiao shoulder "Ah~ I'm glad!!" He smile.

"Come now! We should celebrate this!" One of Venti hand pull Xiao waist while the other hold one of Xiao hand.

"Let's dance! I learn this from Eula, it's how the aristocrat in Mondstadt dance!" Venti start to move dragging Xiao wherever he go.

"I don't know how to dance" Xiao clumsily follow Venti step making sure he don't step on his feet.

"Just follow me" Venti humm a melody as they dance under the moonlight.

Witnessing the beautiful moment Infront of him, Xiao let out a small laugh, "I'm happy, so so happy" he smile.

'there it is, his beautiful laugh... it sound better than my music' Venti thought. "I'm happy too" Venti can't help but laugh together with the love of his life.

That night, both of them dance to each other music.
