Something is Wrong

Ever hear this weird reverse sneezes dogs spent homes have? It's like the noise you make right before you sneeze, the ahh ahh ahh, but then, instead of sneezing, they do the reverse thing of sneezing. Daisy did it. We said God bless you. Soon enough, we were saying God bless you 50 times a day. Something was off. When I looked in her eyes, I didn't see or feel that happiness she always had.
It was the middle of the night. I was crashed, sleeping in my cozy bed on a Friday night. I don't know how but I felt a nervousness shoot through my stomach then I sat up. I ran into my parents bedroom where I called my mom. I said to her, "Daisy isn't ok" through my tears. She stumble and tried to run to my room- probably thinking Daisy was in pain. There she was in my room. Peacefully sleeping in her bed, quiet and comfortable. I felt stupid. My mom patted me on the head a whispered, "She's fine Chloe, don't worry." She tiptoes back to her room and I fell asleep crying. Who knew that night would be the last night I would fall asleep without the thought that soon, what made me happy, would come to an end?
