alejandro's life

chapter one

alejandro's pov:

here we go again i thought as i placed the rest of my bags in the car "is gonna be the place" she said smiling "you said that about the last ten states" i plugged my airpods in and closed my eyes

i felt the car come to a stop and heard doors open i woke up and grabbed my stuff "what room is mine" she pointed to the room at the end of the hall it was a nice size i had two windows and the door finally locked

"i'll be back imma run to the store" my mom yelled i ignored her and began putting my stuff up i looked out the window and seen a guy from across the street he was cute and tall he looked up at me and i quickly backed away

a few hours later my mom was back "so you ready for school tomorrow" i looked at her annoyed "that start school so early but whatever" i got my clothes out and laid down in bed "you ok" she asked i just nodded

she looked like she wanted to say something else but didn't i just closed my eyes hoping this town was different from the rest the thing about moving is you never really know where you belong i always thought i'd have lots of friends but nope

~the next morning~

"let's goo" my mom said "i can walk" she looked at me and placed her keys down "fine" i grabbed a jacket and began walking i seen that kid in the halls once again "howdy neighbor" he said walking up to to me "i couldn't help but notice you staring at me yesterday"

i froze a bit "i wasn't staring i was just looking at the neighborhood and you were in the way" he did a small smirk "fair play i'm mattia" i smiled and shook his hand "alejandro" it was a comfortable silence until someone came up to use "move mattia" a short boy said

"sorry about him i'm kairi" i smiled "it's fine but alejandro you can call me ale" he grabbed me by the arm and took me to a table "this is alvaro, nico, hector, and katrina" before i could say anything kairi pulled me down to sit "guys is she looking"

i looked around "who" he turned my face "don't make it obvious but is karina looking my way" oh i know karina she's in our first block "no she's talking to some guy" he quickly turned his head "uhh roshaun diah it's not like she likes him anyways"
