Chapter 14

Red X's P.O.V. 

The last thing I remember was saving Starfire but a big tentical arm smacking me into a building. I woke up to see it was morning, still dark but looked about 3:30ish. I got up seeing some of the other titans up. All the girls were out cold except for Jinx, Raven, and Terra. I didn't see Starfire anywhere. Maybe she was up already? I ran to the other titans. "Hey guys where is Starfire?" I asked the boys. "We don't know, after Starfire shot Gismo she blacked out and all the villains left." Robin said grusumly staring at Terra who was on the floor coughing up blood. "What do you mean you don't know, where did she pass out?!" I said a bit frustrated and scared. Beastboy pointed to the building I got slammed to, but Beastboy was pointing to a pile of rocks. "Oh no..." I whispered and ran to the rocks. "STARFIRE!?" I screamed ripping the rocks out of the pile. "STARFIREEEE" I screamed louder hearing sirens coming. I was about to scream again until I saw a strand of red/brownish colored hair. That was the color of the tip of her hair. "STARFIRE!" I yelled happily throwing the rocks off her faster and faster. What I saw though... almost made me want to barf, she had a black eye, her arms and legs were covered with bruses, her neck looked swolen like someone choked her, and she had a deep gash in her stomach. "OH MY GODS." I screamed and Beastboy, Cyborg, and Speedy ran up behind me. "Oh my gods Starfire..." Cyborg said stroking her face. "DON'T JUST STAND THERE GET THE AMBULENCE LETS GO!" I screamed lifting up Starfire. "Dude they already took the other girls, more are coming." Beastboy said trying to comfort me. "NO GET THEM OVER HERE NOW!" I screamed running after one of the parametics getting in his car. "DUDE STOP!" Cyborg said taking Starfire from me. "Give... her... BACK!" I screamed running after him until I felt a jab in my neck. I spun around seeing Robin holding a needle and things started to dim. "What did you do!?! No I have to save Starfire!" I yelled tears forming up. "No dude... you need rest." Cyborg said and I blacked out.

Still Red X's P.O.V.

I woke up in a dimly lit room, in a bed and I was strapped to it. I tried to struggle but the door swung open, it was Robin. "Where am I, where is Starfire!?!" I said trying to sit up. "Your in a hospital, you slept for 5 hours and Starfire is one floor up." Robin explained. "Has she awoken?" I asked still worried. "Yes once or twice for about 2 minutes." Robin said. "Can I see her?" I asked calming down. "Yes but you can't freak out when you see her." Robin told me. "I promise I won't!" I said anxious to get out. Robin then unstrapped me and I quickly got up and ran to the elevator. The door was taking to long so I ran up the stairs and into Starfire's room. Kid Flash, Cyborg, Bee, and Jinx were in there. Starfire looked terrible, like she came from a horror movie. "Starfire!" I said running to her to wake her up. "Don't try to wake her up, she hasn't woken up since she got here." Cyborg said holding his arm out. "B-but Robin said..." I stuttered and gave Robin a nasty glare. I kneeled next to Starfire's bed and my eyes teared up. "Not again... I need to... NO!" I said crying. Kid Flash patted my back and I didn't fight it, I went to touch Starfire's hand and once I did... a miricale happened. Starfire's eyes dazed open, when she saw me she popped up and hugged me tightly. "Oh my gods!" Everyone said standing up. I hugged and squeezed Starfire until she moaned in pain and I set her back down. "Starfire you scared me so much!" I said still crying happy tears and holding her hands. "I-I bet my uniform is ruined now." Starfire said smiling at me and I couldn't help but kiss her. She kissed me back but she couldn't move her arms. "My gods Star I love you so damn much." I told her kissing her again. "I love you to." She said giggling. The doctor came in shocked and talked with us saying she would be fine. Her major wounds healed up quickly because Tamaranians can withstand things normal humans can't but she was still going to be sore for the next few days. I didn't care, I swept her up and carried her bridal style into the T-Car. I couldn't put her on the motercycle because she wouldn't be able to hold on and I wasn't leaving her alone so I let Kid Flash and Jinx ride it home and I rode in the T-car with Starfire. Cyborg was driving, Beastboy and Raven were in the passenger seat, and Star and I were in the back. Starfire was sprawled against the car laying on my legs and she snuggled in close. I smoothed her hair down and held her tight. "I love you to the moon and back Starfire." I whispered to her still stroking her hair. "And I to love you to Tamaran and back." she whispered back.
