"Before you, the princess of Treesapphire, Leyanoriel, daughter of the Queen Shifeith and the King Raulasen II" and with that all the people of the kingdom knelt before the new born princes.
Everything was perfect there in Treesapphire. The celebrations of the new born child were in the main garden of the kingdom were everyone was invited. The floor was bright green grass, vines that covered the walls of the whole garden with flowers of every color, trees adorning every corner of it with hanging lights and under them beautiful benches made from the very roots of each tree. Everyone was enjoying the excellent food made by the best cooks on the land and the music played by the royal musicians. You could hear the laughter of the children playing with the animals that live among the trees of the garden. The King and the Queen were very happy and please with the celebration.
Leyanoriel or as her close ones called her Leya, was a beautiful child. She had curly brown hair and big brown eyes filled with curiosity. She was a sweet little girl loved by everyone in the kingdom as she was growing up. Thirteen years later, Leya and her two best friends Jeylauren and Vanxelter were walking on the outskirts of the castle when they heard a chilling roar right in the middle of the enchanted forest. They couldn't tell what kind of animal it was but the sound it made send chills through her body, it felt like the creature was in suffering. She had a humble heart, innocent and pure, and could not bear to know that an animal was suffering.
After the roar there was silence and then she heard it, a soft masculine voice calling her name. She soon realizes that her friends could not hear the voice calling her. As curios as she was, she convinces her friends to go with her to the enchanted forest to look for the poor creature and help it. They went into the forest, but after searching for hours they could not find it.
They soon realize that it was getting dark and decided to go back to the castle, surely everyone must be worried by now. When they arrived at the castle, they found out that everyone went looking for them, they even got the hunting hounds searching for them. Her parents were mad at them for going to the enchanted forest because it was dangerous and forbidden. She tried to explain but they would not listen and send her to her room. But before she went to her room she told her friends to meet her at midnight in the same place they herd the noise, she was going back to the forest. They agreed to meet her but weren't happy about the idea of going into the forest when it was still dark.
Couple of minutes before midnight, Leya sneak out of her room and ran as fast as she could to meet with her friends at the place they agreed. Once outside she stops in front of the enchanted forest and waited till midnight, her friends weren't there yet, she waited and waited but being an impatient girl she decided to go without her friends. She stood up and looked at the forest, held up her hand and with a blink of an eye her hand light up with a soft white glow enough to see where she was going.
She wondered in the forest trying to find the creature that hours ago was calling her name. Suddenly she heard a small noise not far away and with trembling legs started walking in that direction hopping that whatever she'll encounter will not harm her. As she approached the place where the noise came from, she began to see a bright light and had to close her eyes for a second, the heat from the light was intolerable. When she was able to open her eyes again she found herself in front of the most beautiful beast she only herd about in stories and legends. A big sapphire dragon with bright green eyes looking down at her. Then the dragon spoke again, "Finally my child, I've waited so long for you"....
