The Rao mansion was filled with servants moving around and preparing for the upcoming functions in Rao mansion, while Kirti and Jaya were getting ready to go to the Deshmukh's house. They were going to be accompanied by Farhad, while Raghav went on a business meeting out of the city. They were ready to go and Farhad was very excited for his boss's wedding.
The Rao family reached Pallavi's house and they were directed towards the living room by a servant, who then went to call Sharda and Vijay. They were sitting and looking around when Farhad spotted a picture.
Farhad's p.o.v.
I think I have seen this guy before, but where? Or maybe I'm just overthinking nowadays. After few minutes Deshmukh family came except Pallavi, who was at her office.
Sharda: what a pleasant surprise mrs. Rao! You could have informed me so I could welcome you properly.
Jaya: there is no need of any formality, we are like your family.
Vijay: yes, you are. But still you guys came for the first time into our house.
Kirti: uncle leave it! We are here for a very important thing.
Sharda: we didn't understand!
Jaya: actually I want to ask your daughter's hand for my son.
Vijay: what? You mean Pallavi's alliance?
Jaya: yes, mr. Deshmukh. I want Pallavi to become my daughter-in-law. I want her to marry my son Raghav Rao.
Nikhil: do you know that she is a widow?
Kirti: yes, we know but we don't have any issue with that; even Raghav is ready for this marriage.
Vijay: we need some time to think and we need to ask Pallavi's opinion as well.
Jaya: please take all the time you want but I want to hear a YES.
Sharda: it depends on Pallavi's decision. Please have something!Sharda served them tea and snacks and then the Rao family left but Deshmukh were tensed on how to tell Pallavi about this alliance.
Sharda: what are we going to tell to Pallavi?
Nikhil: the truth mum! there is no way we can hide such big thing.
Vijay: what do you think about this proposal Sharda?
Sharda: I think it's a perfect proposal for our daughter! Raghav is rich, handsome and a family man. He will keep her happy and even his family is so loving. I think Pallavi should marry Raghav.
Vijay: even I think the same, but we shouldn't force our decision on Pallavi. It's her life, so let her choose her future. We can just guide her but not write her destiny.
Nikhil: but Pallavi di will never agree.
Sharda: I will make her agree because her age of marriage is passing. If she keep refusing good proposals then there will come a time when no proposal will come altogether for her. I want to see her happy and contented in her life.
Vijay: leave it to God! He is a good decision maker for all of us!The Rao family reached their house, and saw that Raghav was impatiently waiting for them. Jaya sat while Kirti explained him about all the situation. Raghav was very nervous about Pallavi's decision. Farhad tried to cheer him up but his mind was stuck on Pallavi. Everyone retired to their rooms for rest while Raghav went to his study area to do some work to divert his mind, but all his attempts were futile.
Pallavi reached her house, and saw everyone sitting in the living room. She went to her room to freshen up and then she had dinner with her family. When she was going to sleep, Sharda called her in their room where Nikhil was present as well.
Pallavi: what happened mum?
Sharda: today mrs. Rao came with her daughter.
Pallavi: oh! Is everything alright?
Vijay: everything is good Pallavi! They came for your alliance.
Pallavi: huh?
Sharda: they came to ask for your hand in marriage for their son Raghav.
Pallavi: what did you guys reply?
Vijay: we didn't say anything because we wanted to know your decision.
Pallavi: then say NO, I don't want to marry.
Sharda: why?
Pallavi: because I can't leave you guys.
Sharda: Pallavi don't be emotional, you have a long life ahead. You need a partner to make your life beautiful. Anyways Mandhar is no more but Raghav is a good option.
Vijay: he will keep you happy, think about it. ( he caressed her hair lovingly)Pallavi went to her room, she was confused and didn't know what to do. Her dilemma was eating her up that should she marry Raghav or no? He was a rich person but she didn't knew why he wanted to marry her. She called Kirti and asked her to ask Raghav to come to her office tomorrow. Kirti went to Raghav's study and gave him Pallavi's message. He was seeing light in the end of the tunnel, he confirmed that he will meet her tomorrow.
The next day in Deshmukh's emporium,
Pallavi was working in her office when her secretary informed her about Raghav's arrival. She asked her to let him in. He came in with all the attitude like he has won a game.
Raghav: hello to be mrs. Rao!
Pallavi: shut up! Just shut up!
Raghav: why? Haven't you agreed to marry me?
Pallavi: no, I haven't. Why have you sent your proposal to my house?
Raghav: because I like you and I want to marry you.
Pallavi: but I don't.She came and stood in front of him, there was a big gap between them, they were eyeing each other with utmost confidence. He was sure she was his forever, she wasn't sure about her own decision now.
Raghav: I don't want to force you Pallavi! But I want to marry you. You are the only woman I'm attracted to. Please give me a chance.
Pallavi: I will give you a chance! Prove me you are worth it.
Raghav: I won't disappoint you.
Pallavi: before marrying you, I want to find Mandhar's culprit. I hope you will help me.
Raghav: don't worry I will just talk to commissioner to open the case and solve it as soon as possible.
Pallavi: thank you R... Raghav!
Raghav: my pleasure! He gently leaned in and kissed her left cheek softly and went away winking while Pallavi was routed on her place. She was shocked on how to react. She could feel heat coming out of her cheek.
Precap
Raghav: I can't lose Pallavi!
Farhad: truth will be out someday.
Raghav: I will destroy everything. Thanks for voting and commenting.
