Dodging the verity that the castle is a full house, its walls are mostly echoing waves of silence. Raised with downright manipulative manners, the children of the king and queen can be mistaken to be out of the premice for how quiet they've become. Nowadays, though, silence never quite equals a peaceful environment.

It wasn't expected of the king and queen, though the oldest had built a bond with their youngest the moment he had been announced to be in the womb-- constant chatting with a slowly-rising stomach, involving the baby in conversations or ideas, predicting where and how things would work when the baby arrived-- Touya's mind was stolen by his new and soon-to-arrive little brother.
He was lonely under the hands of a family of five-- with him included-- and his parents were never fond of the idea of having outsiders entering the castle. Touya, along with his siblings, never had an outside friend, and they've quickly come to terms that the guards weren't "friend-material" for children under the ages of eight and below.

At this time, Touya and his little brother are the bulls in a room full of shelves packed with china sets. They're ruthless with pranks and jokes and over their acts' disturbance towards those who habit the castle, the family is glad to have their oldest son be happy. Shoto has brought out a child within Touya that was never present during his own childhood. With his brother, Shoto is loud, giddy, playful-- he's everything a seven-year-old trapped in the body of a fifteen-year-old would be. Around guards, his parents, or other guests, however, he escalates into a boy of no smiles, a quiet teenager with colorless eyes that stare for an unsettling moment too long. He's not disrespectful yet not overly mannered all the same, leaving about not much to fully learn about the youngest son.

Whenever together, they run around day and night... they laugh, cry, rage-- And of course, they mock together.

"--"It is of my demand that mister buttface is thrown in the shackles"," the youngest mocks, his head bobbing from side to side. "Bleh bleh bleh...-"

Shoulders bouncing with laughter, the oldest pulls him into a headlock and gaily ruffles his hair, dodging the exaggerated crown slipping from straight and silky locks of red and white. He rocks an extreme hair look as he pulls away, looking dazed and as if he's licked a power outlet, but he's laughing and giving into his brother's glee. "Alright, little bro... no need to sound that much like him..." Chortles the tallest. They burst into quiet laughter, holding onto one another for support whenever they aren't covering their own mouths.

Prince Shoto removes his crown and carelessly tosses it aside as he throws himself over his large king-sized bed. Prince Touya sits at the edge, his chuckles dying down into an easygoing smile. He stares for a small while as a few more words marinate in a pool of thought.

He pulls conversation with a quieter, "The old man's been stressed lately, ey?" and Shoto rolls his eyes away with a soft frown tugging at his face.

"And it's projecting towards me." The youngest groans. "He never goes after any of you whenever he's got a stick up his butt."
"Pfft... it's always the youngest--"
"--It's always the youngest- why is it always the youngest!? I can be hidden away in my room and he's blaming his own spilled-over tea on me!"

Touya's silence is a blow to his own smile. He's never liked his father's attitude towards his little brother. On the lack of words, Shoto takes the lead with a gasp. "Right! I always forget to tell you!"

Touya laughs, commenting, "Oh-uh... the sparks are back..." while he pokes the Prince's forehead. "What's up?" He adds, an endearing edge to his tone bringing about another level of glee from Shoto.

After living with Shoto for all of his life, he could expect multiple things from him at this moment. Another new idea for a prank, something that had happened to him involving the guards or vice-versa, or anything other that runs along those tracks. Shoto, as always, bursts in with a surprise.

He shifts closer on the bed to him and leans in to whisper, "I've been planning of running away for a night" with excited, mischievous giggles. Touya's world ceased to turn at his words. "Just for a night...! I'd leave after lights-out... spend an entire night out exploring... then come back before sunrise. And no one would be the wiser... well, except you, because I'm telling you."
