"The best option we have so far is to just make a run for it," (Name) muttered, looking at the waypoint. "But then again, Diluc's fast, and I'm nowhere near athletic..." An idea then went to (Name)'s/s' head. "I can't run to Mondstadt; Jean might've alerted the knights and the city about me," Sighing, (Name) ran a hand through her hair in irritation.
"Maybe we could sneak to Mondstadt and use the waypoint there, but it's too risky. Plus, since Jean's in charge, they're all after my head; To make this shit worse, some of them might've teamed up..." As Paimon watched the (hair color)-haired female do her best to think of a plan, she spotted a large group in the distance.
Raising a brow, she tapped (Name)'s/s' shoulder. "Hey, (Name)?" Paimon asked, catching the attention of (Name). "There's a group of people over there, and Paimon doesn't recognize any of them..." (Name)'s/s' heart immediately dropped.
She then looked at Paimon with a distressed look. "Paimon, we need to go. Now." Confused about why (Name) grabbed her wrist and started running, Paimon tried pulling her wrist away from the girl, only to fail.
"L-Let go!" Paimon groaned. "I-I can't! No... I don't wanna go back; Paimon, I'm sorry, but you'll have to understand that what I'm doing is for the best for the both of us!" "They could've helped us-" Stopping in her tracks, (Name) looked around in a hurry before going into a bush and crouching.
"Paimon, you don't understand! You don't know what they did to me, and there's no way I'm experiencing that again! Trying to escape them was hard enough, and if they get me back, it'll be even worse! I was lucky enough to escape before they were able to do anything they wanted with me; To top it all off, all the vision users we met are strong, and my strength is nowhere near theirs!" Shaking as she explained it, Paimon's gaze then softened.
"Paimon's sorry, (Name); Paimon didn't know that happened to you..." The pixie apologized, a guilty look on her expression. Sighing, (Name) then gave a head pat to Paimon. "It's fine-" Hearing footsteps walking across the grass, (Name) immediately shut up as she crouched.
"Are you sure you saw her run here?" A deep voice asked, the familiarity and similarity making her eyes widen. "Yeah! I could recognize that (hair color) hair anywhere; Plus, I think I also saw a floating child following er" A different voice answered, their voice a bit louder.
Swallowing a lump in her throat, (Name) looked over to Paimon, signaling her to move. Nodding, Paimon slowly scooched over to (Name), doing her best to not make a sound. Looking behind her, she saw Paimon crouched down with a determined look on her face; Soon turning into one of horror.
Raising a brow, (Name) continued crawling, only for her to see shoes in front of her.
