"Tsukki... i need your help with something"

Yamaguchi had a bad night. He had a pathetic nightmare about a giant gummy bear.. or thats he told Tsukki in the morning. "You look terrible" said Tsukki when he first saw him that day.

"Is it your homework?" Asked Kei with a straight face. His friend seemed to be off all day, he didn't even eat his lunch fast.

"Yes... This thing about the verbs is killing me.."

Kei nodded and continued packing his notebooks. Tadashi walked out of the classroom and a girl stepped in front of him with a letter in hands.

"Yamaguchi-Kun! Could you please give this to Tsukkishima-Kun?" Asked the nervous girl with a reverence.

"... sure.."

It happens all the time. He is just the bridge for others to get to Tsukki. Girls apparently see him as the messenger. He have always been the friend aside the cool guy. The piece connecting him to the dirty mortals. The girl left when Kei appeared behind the short one.

"Another letter?"

He wasn't happy about the letters. He doesn't deserve that much attention and love... he doesn't even work hard like Hinata or Kageyama. He is just tall. He tries but he doesn't deserve any of all that... or thats what he thinks.. For his bestfriend, Kei deserved the world; he is amazing, clever, good at studies, pure and funny even.

"Yes.. i think she was a girl from Second year... how-"

"I don't care about her grade... I don't even know her and she didn't even came to talk to me... pathetic"

Again that cold and rude tone of his. Yamaguchi didn't blame anyone to avoid Tsukki, honestly he is intimidating... but to fell in love without even knowing someone sounds.. dumb.

"You are not even gonna read it?"

"I will not pay attention to things that could be said face to face.."

Was that mean? Maybe... but he got a point. Tsukkishima hated that they use Yamaguchi as a messenger for their love letters; that was meaner.

"Ready to go?"

Tadashi nodded and they left the Karasuno High School. Usually Tadashi talked about whatever crosses his mind on the way home and Kei just listens ti him but this time he had a question.

"You didn't sleep yesterday... did you?"

"I told you I had a nightmare.."

"and that's a lie. You were off all day"

"Did he noticed?" Thought Yamaguchi. Is not like he stopped talking or something. He hided it pretty well. Not even Hinata noticed.

"Take out of your face that confused expression.. you ate your lunch slow"

"You noticed?"

His heart was about to explote. He cared about him.. he ACTUALLY cared about him.

"Of course I do.. I always have to slow you down"

That was true, but Tadashi never thought he will see that as an indicator of his mood.

"Now tell me what really happened..."

Yamaguchi didn't really want to talk about it. It was pathetic.. but his friend seemed so worried about him.

"I feel like I'm not important in the team.. and.. I still stay in the bench when all the 1st graders are mains.."

"Again that? You are a good player. You are the only one that works hard and gets nothing and keeps trying. You have to do get that in your head!"

Yamaguchi felt great.. his friend was losing it about the fact that he is insecure so badly he yelled. He shouldn't be happy about that but the feeling was so unstoppable. He smiled and jumped to hug his.. friend?

"Get of me! We have to get to my house still..."

"Sorry Tsukki..."

"We use to be in am-are-is.. remember" said the blonde boy.

"But I get confused.."

"Ok.. do a sentence with I and the verb to be..." Yamaguchi was a clever guy but he really can be an idiot.

"I are at the shop"

"Am... is I am at the shop, Yamaguchi.."

"Sorry! Is just.. so confusing.."

Yamaguchi was frustrated. He felt like a dumb idiot. Always failing in things all were good at. In class even Kageyama was able to do the practice. His stress was overwhelming and was about to break.

"Time for a break"

Tsukki knew that look in his eyes.. is the "Im at my breaking point" look. He just wanted to help him and this is the way.

"Lets eat something.. ok?"

His tone softened and he closed the notebook Yamaguchi was holding, but Tadashi wasn't reacting. He came closer in the bed, sitting right in front of him and softly took the notebook out of his hands.

"Tadashi... look at me"

Just like a ON button, the shorter one looked up. He had a little tear next to his beautiful eyes.

"Time to rest.. let's go eat something.."

"Why I can't get this?"

"Cos is tricky.. is not bc you are stupid.."

Tsukki smiled at him, receiving a hug from the olive boy.

"Thanks, Kei.."

"Shut up... I'm hungry"
