**Jordan's POV**

My entire life I have been scared. Scared of what the future will hold and terrified that one day my hellish lifestyle will get worse. To most people getting blamed for something that you didn't even have a part of is awful but for me this time around, I was a pretty happy camper.

After my principal called my mother and informed her of yet another mishap, I was told to go to the front of my ratchet ass school and wait for her to pick me up. Most kids would be nervous in these types of situations but she knew it wasn't my fault. These types of things happen to me a lot because I don't play sports and am not favored over the assholes that bully me. I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't even notice my mom's van until the horn pierced my ears.

I walked lazily over to the door and slung it open. I slumped in the seat, knowing that she was looking at me with her sad eyes ; she had most likely been crying. After about a minute of awkward silence, I tried to clear the situation by telling and awkward joke. "Oops...! I did it again!" I mumbled. My mom looked at me and giggled silently.
"I am so sorry that these things happen to you, Jordan. You're a great person and you don't deserve any of the shit that you get put through. I want you to know that I would do anything for you to make the situation better. Anything at all to make my son the cheerful person he once was."

I thought about what she had said for a second. "Anything?" I asked. "Yes, honey. Anything," she responded. "Well, there's this school a few minutes down the road in downtown L.A. that I've always wanted to go to. It would mean the world to me if you would allow me to transfer," I hinted at her. There was a long pause as she thought about it. "I'll see what I can do," she replied, grinning. "Let's talk about it over coffee?" I said. "Sounds great to me," mom replied, still grinning.

*****At Starbucks*****

The line was longer than usual. The place was swamped and I felt uncomfortable so as usual, I distracted myself by staring at my phone. I was staring at Twitter when I was awoken from my trance by a boiling pain at my leg. Some lil' shit just spilled hot coffee on my pants. "What tHE HELL!" I exclaimed in pain. I was angry at first until I noticed who spilled coffee on me. I looked into the most gorgeous pair of eyes I have ever seen. They were the type that I could get lost in for hours. Oh. My. LAWD. "I'm so sorry! Let me make it up to you" The one and only Connor Franta said to me.
