Now that all 4 are out of the hospital, it was up for Schezo to decide on what happens next, and he came to a conclusion: Arle will be guarding his cave, while Schezo, Lemres, and Satan all do what they want to do.
Having hanahaki was an unexpected and terrifying experience for Schezo, but all that the other 3 cared about was that he's alive, happy, and healthy.
Schezo had decided to visit Satan, and he did just that.
"Hehe. Sorry to interrupt what you were doing. I just wanna be with you, get what I'm saying?"
"I wasn't even doing anything, goof! But knowing that you previously had hanahaki is scary, isn't it?" Satan said.
Schezo teared up.
"Oh. I didn't know you don't want me to bring this up. That's okay, we can change the topic. Want some tea?"
"I would love that." Schezo smiled and stopped crying. He sat on a rather comfy chair.
Satan prepared the tea and gave it to him. He then sat on his own chair. "So tell me what brought you here."
"I just... Wanted to hang out, you know? Besides, you really did help me deal with what had happened, so I figured that we could benefit more if we weren't separate for longer."
"I get it. You know you're always welcome to come over."
Schezo smiled and drank his tea.
Satan sat closer to him and rubbed his back.
He looked at him, drinking more tea. Both were blushing a bit.
"Hmmm... I'd like to talk to you about something." Schezo said.
"Whatever it is I'm open to it." Satan replied.
"Hmm... You know how Lemres and I started dating?"
"Yes, why?"
"Well.... Before all that, while I had the disease, I ended up finding you attractive as well... I'm saying... That I might have fallen in love with you.... I know you're in love with Arle, so feel free to just say it. I'm ready to get the disease again, and this time, I'm ready to die. If you don't want me, I'm okay with that, I'm prepared for what's about to come...." Schezo held his cup of tea tightly.
"Don't say those things about yourself. All of this is wrong. I'm no longer interested in Arle. She rejected me millions of times so I'm fine with it. And even if you are prepared to get the disease again, just know that I'm not prepared to see you suffer again. None of us are. We're not prepared to see you die like this, either. And if this ever happens to you again, I might get scared of getting it too. We all are. We can't let you die like this... We actually want you around. It would be so quiet and lonely without you."
Satan held Schezo's hand. "Wanna know something?" They made eye contact. "I love you too. I alway had, especially ever since I watched you suffer...."
"But how would Lemres feel? What if he sees us together? What if he gets the hanahaki like I did?" Schezo was a little scared.
"We can tell him that. Here, I'll text him." Satan started texting Lemres
Satan: Hey Lemres, just wanna let you know that Schezo and I are dating now. Care to be in the poly?
Lemres got the text and looked at it. He smiled at it. He loved Schezo, but felt incomplete without a 3rd boyfriend. He texted back.
Lemres: Are you really? Yes I wanna date!
"So uhhh... Did he freak out?" Schezo asked.
Satan handed his phone to him and then Schezo looked. He then got close to Satan and gave him a kiss.
Lemres walked into the place. "Yes! You're finally here! How about you join us then?!" Schezo said.
The comet warlock ran over to the dark mage and prince happily, immediately hugging them.
