Chapter 12 : Don't Leave Me

       Me and appa got to the hospital, but Anyung had already reached Lucius. We opened the door silently after being let in, and I inhale. Lucius didn't look so good. "Anyung?.." I ask quietly, and hear a chocked out sob escape her lips. "He promised!.." She exclaimed and clung to our father like her life depended on it. He hushed her softly, and rubbed her back. I sit in one of the chairs by Luciius, and place my hand on top of his. "Suyoung..watch your sister for me-" He started, as tears formed in my eyes. "Don't say that. You'll be fine, I promise." I whisper and he wearily shakes his head. "No I won't, I only have a little left of me. So take good care of her, I know she's older than you, but watch over her for me please.." He mumbled, and I nod along while he explained. I caress his enlarged hand in my own, and Anyung had come to sit back down. "I love you Lucius..." She finally confessed and smiled, tears streaming down her face. He nodded, and returned the smile. "I know you do Anyung, so please forget about me. Don't hurt yourself alright?..Promise me?" He coughed and Anyung shook her head. "No I won't, because we'll walk out of here together.." She stated, almost making it sound like a command/demand. He smiled again. "I love you both dearly, and I hope you both do amazingly. Be yourselves..and don't ever. EVER. lose hope, do you both understand?" He asked, and we both nodded. He put a shaky hand up to Anyung, and wiped her right side of her tear stained face. She leaned into the touch and stiffled a sigh. I lean my head against appa, who was sanding behind me; and he rubbed my back comfortingly.

       Then the trouble began. His monitor started beeping rapidly, and Anyung was up like lightning. "Some help!PLEASE!" She yelped, and doctors/nurses came running in, ushering us out of the room. Anyung pleaded to stay, but was escorted out to sink to the floor; now sobbing again. I sit down next to her and pull her in for a hug. She rested her head on my shoulder as I sang to her. "Our knight in shining armor, oh do come save us. For the mighty beast is upon us, come save us come save us. We will dance and sing, for we have won, we have won~" I sing the verses quietly, which seemed to do the trick as her quick sharp breathes turned into light snores. I smile up to appa, and he pats my head. "Thank you." He mouthed, and I nod, swaying lightly from side to side still on the floor. A doctor walked out shortly after we had gotten seated, and Anyung looked up with puffy eyes and a red face. I had puffed eyes as well, and appa looked tired. really tired. She tucked the binder under her arm, and bowed. Our hearts dropped. Anyung's breathe quickened and she inhaled. I The nurse rushed over and rubbed her back, cooing soft word to her; but she stood up. "Let me see him..please" She whispered and the nurse nodded. "Follow me." She quickly replied, before taking us to Lucius's room. He was slightly hitching a breathe every so often, but other than that he was still. "I'd recommend saying your goodbyes now dear." The sweet nurse said to Anyung, and she shrugged the nurse off. The nurse bowed, and left the room; shutting the door behind her. 

       "I'm so sorry sweety.." Our dad started, but she put a hand up. "No, it's fine dad. Really." She muttered almost inaudibly. She turned to face us with the most hero like, trying not to cry smile I had ever seen her pull off. I almost cried on the spot. "I'd like to say some things then we can wait." She said and I nod. "I loved him so much. He was like an older brother I never had. He cooked for us, helped us with homework, played with us, showed us how to fight bad guys..and he cared for us..I know this sounds dumb, but I've had a crush on him since he got year years ago." She laughed at herself, and face palmed. "I just never thought I'd be here now, seeing him like this..But I'll be strong for him. I promised." She finalized her last remark, and I smile to her. She stood up, after squeezing his hand slightly; and we left. She would go and visit him everyday. Making sure he was stabilizing, eating, staying healthy, and keeping him company. He would mumble to her every so often, and she would come home squealing with excitement. I knew she was better. But one night she didn't come home from the hospital. I got worried and went up to check on her. I checked in to the room, and opened the door. She lay asleep next to a smiling, sleeping, Lucius. Damn, he did look better. Anyung you magical magical girl. I smile and take a few pictures sending them to appa, to make sure he knew where we were. 

-The next Morning-

       I cuddle into the warm heated blanket I was given and proceed to ry and scoot farther away from the edge of the chair. I pout and succeed. UwU bitches. Then I heard a scream. I sat up almost instantly and see Anyung, eyes wide, and mouth agape. I turn my head a bit more, and see Lucius sitting up. He yawned, stretching. "Mmmm, morning." He muttered, to which me and Anyung both toppled him and smothered him in hugs. He laughed at our actions and hugged back. "So, who missed me?" He asked, jokingly. Anyung and I sat back, both punching either of his arms. "Ow!Hey no tag teaming you two." He playfully scolded us, before appa rushed into the room. "Lucius!" He exclaimed and smiled. Lucius smiled a big wide bunny like smile. "Hi there Sumin." He greeted his best friend happily. 

Okay so, I have no more ideas for this chapter, but I do for the next chapter, so I'ma start writing it in like two seconds after I publish this, maybe two chapters in a day for one story. Maybe I'll update a chapter for each story. I dunno yet. UwU
