after he thought that, he instantly knew, it was that person.

"oh my im so sorry for scaring you! i didnt mean it.."

xiao quickly said "n-nononono its fine. i do not mind it." he stuttered because of not knowing what to say at all. he couldn't take his eyes off that boy.
his eyes, his lips, his hair, everything about him looked so delicate to xiao.

"umm...hello? are you there?" venti said while tapping xiao's nose.

xiao quickly said
"im sorry, i zoned out for a second."

"oh no haha, its fine~, anyways i have not introduced to you, but zhongli told me about you. ehe~" venti said.

"anyways im venti the bard! but, i am also the anemo archon, barbatos."

xiao quickly bowed and said "sorry about me, lord barbatos."

venti laughed and said "oh no, thats way too formal! call me venti instead, dummy."

xiao looked away. he didn't know that right infront of him, was lord barbatos.

venti said: "so, what are you up to?"

xiao shrugged, since he didnt have anything in mind, but then venti said

"i can play the lyre for you!" and smiled right after

xiao nodded. a little song wouldn't hurt before having to go protect liyue, right?

venti sat in a rock, and xiao sat in another, xiao looked at the stars.

venti quickly got his lyre and started playing a song.

xiao got so suprised. he felt like all his surroundings faded, that song..it touched him.
it was calming and soothing.
xiao was blown away by the song. he loved it
it felt like the corruption inside him faded, and he was free from the pain
but then, he looked at venti, which was playing the lyre peacefully, with his eyes closed. he couldnt keep his eyes off venti. he thought 'what a beautiful..song...it calms me.. i feel warm.'
he closed his eyes as he listened to venti's tunes.

after some minutes, venti stopped playing the lyre. on the other side, xiao was blown away by that.

venti said "was it good?"

xiao quickly responded: "no."
but his heart said yes. a thousand times.

venti frowned and said "i thought i was doing great!! no fun.."

xiao had to go protect liyue, so he said

"ill be back. after. a while.."

venti just sat there, with no clue what xiao was going to do.

xiao left venti quickly and killed all the monsters nearby liyue. after 4 hours, he decided to see if venti was still there.

going to wangshu inn, he saw venti at the same rock, sleeping peacefully.

xiao, sat beside venti and shaked venti gently

"hey, venti. wake up. im back."

venti yawned and said "youre finally back~"

"im having no fun here, how about we go to mondstadt for a bit?"

he was with puppy eyes and begged xiao to come with him.

xiao was annoyed and said "fine, only once."

venti quickly said "yay! lets get going right now!!"

venti pulled out his lyre and made a short song.

xiao was confused but suddenly felt something on his back. it was a dragon.

venti quickly backed away and said
"what. and how."

venti said "dont sweat the details, cmon."

he grabbed xiao's hand and sat in the dragon's back.

venti said " dvalin, off to mondstadt please!"

the dragon nodded and venti whispered to xiao "hold tight~"

xiao blinked and he was flying. on the wind, holding tight onto the dragons back. he felt scared, thinking he was gonna fall. but then, they arrived.

venti said: "thank you, dvalin!"

the dragon nodded and flew away.

then, venti showed him around mondstadt. he was confused because he didnt see something like it before.

venti then dragged xiao to a tavern, since it was the last day of wine, for free.

venti said "five bottles of dandelion wine for the bard please!~"

the man behind the counter just nodded.

there was no one, since it was pretty late.

xiao just sat while venti got drunk.

venti, after getting drunk said:
"hey, *hic* xiao, lets go to a different *hic* spot."

xiao felt a strong wind but when he opened his eyes, they were at a very tall tree, venti was just staring at the stars, xiao had no reaction so he just, stared at the stars as well.

after an hour, he saw something hit his shoulder. gently

venti had fell asleep, and he put his head in xiao's shoulder

xiao couldn't help but blush. his ears were red and his cheeks were heated up.

xiao just sat there, and after that, the sun started to rise.

and after that......

they fell in love.
