~ no one's pov ~

venti and xiao will meet again today. but its the usual as always. xiao kills monsters nearby, and venti goes with xiao to angel's share. since that day, the yaksha started paying for the bard's drinks, with zhongli's money that he's still worried about since he doesn't know where he got it from. but, he doesn't think about it too much and moves on.

xiao thinks "i'll see venti today, as usual." his heart starts beating fast as he thinks about venti. oh god, he really is in love, isnt he? ehe.
he just can't get venti out of his mind. his cheeks show a shade of pink but he shakes his head and kills the remaining monsters.

xiao is waiting patiently for venti as suddenly he hears a soft voice from behind.
"im here, xiao-xiao~".
his ears turn read and he cant help but gasp.
"aah! dont do that anymore!"
he covers his face. he's scared that if venti knows xiao's feelings about him he will get away from him.
venti giggles as he says with a soft smile

"come on silly, let's get going." xiao looks away, but then shakes his head as he sees dvalin coming to get them. as usual, dvalin takes them and xiao holds tight onto venti.

they quickly get to angel's share, and venti says "4 bottles of dandelion wine for the bard please!" xiao widens his eyes but then quickly ignores it. the redhead nods.

the yaksha pays for the drink and just stares at the bard, drinking.

he thinks "how can a person look so beautiful while getting their ass drunk." he huffs and just leaves the tavern, waiting for venti outside.

after a few hours, he hears venti coming out of the tavern's door. he's drunk as shit, as always.
xiao looks at him and says "come on, lets get some rest." venti just stands there. xiao picks him up and goes to windrise. after they get there xiao sits on the grass, staring at the sky. venti sits by his side.

there is silence. they dont say anything to eachother. after a few minutes venti says
"hey, xiao-xiao~ *hic* ill- *hic* let you on a little secret~ *hic*"
xiao responds "careful with what you're gonna say, you're drunk" he says then huffs.

venti pouts and says "im *hic* not drunk at all! *hic*"
xiao cant help but let out laughter. "no no, you're totally not drunk."

venti then says "so *hic* the secret is.....*hic*"

"i have a- *hic* crush on xiao! *hic*,"

xiao widens his eyes. he only can think 'what the hell what the hell what the HELL?!-'
"i- uh, what?"

venti then says "shhhh! *hic* dont tell him, xiao-xiao~ *hic* i think he wont- *hic* like it."

xiao then looks at venti, with his ears blushing and cheeks warm, then he asks "why wouldn't he like it? just tell him."

venti then says "uh i dont- *hic* know but, *hic* okay!"

"i love you- *hic* xiao-xi-"

he gets cut off by xiao. xiao is already kissing him before he can even finish what he was gonna say. even though venti reeks of wine, he doesnt care. he kisses venti aggressively while venti is there, in shock. but then he suddenly feels venti's tongue poking his lips. asking for entry perhaps? xiao allows it. then he feels venti's tongue explore his whole mouth. after that, xiao pulls off, out of breath.

venti then grins. "i love you, silly xiao-xiao!"

then he falls asleep on xiao's lap.

after that, he says

"i love you too, venti." then he pats venti's head as the sun rises.
