the way how they never, ever, once looked at each other in school up until recently confused everyone in their class when the rumor of them dating turned out to be true. he's passive aggressive, stubborn, obnoxious, mischievous and the stereotypical athletic guy. she's extroverted, well-mannered, easy-going, kind, gentle and made everyone around her smile.

it started off when he saw her other side. she was at work, busy as ever in the small little bakery her family owned. her older sister was being irritating and uncooperative when it came to who was working that night. he stood in line, watching it all while concealing himself through the long crowded line.

fuck you! you knew exactly how i felt about him and you still went for him! i've been here for you my entire life, and where were you huh!? where! she shouted, not caring that the entire lobby was full. fed up with the silence from her sister, she grabs her bag and throws her apron off.

he caught her arm before she could walk out, causing her to feel completely embarrassed that someone from school knows how she truly is.

they walked around aimlessly, eventually settling down on a grass hill that overlooks a river that bends and turns in the vegetated wash. it was dark out, but they were hours away till midnight where hopefully the next day would be less exposing for her.
