Emily Maureen Liu, also known as Liu Yuhai, born in Taiwan, together with her twin brother, Liu Yangyang. Born to socialite Emilia Wong and Liu Yinzhen. At the early age of ten, the twins were brought to Germany by their mother.

Their parents divorced, simply because their mother couldn't take what their father does for a living: a mafia. All the murders, arsons, and blood. She couldn't stand it any longer. She then decided to leave and take her two children with her. 

Soon after their father knew about their whereabouts, Yangyang moved back to Taiwan- also flying frequently to Germany to visit his mother and sister.

They still maintained communication, casual meet-ups in Paris, where her mother was now a world-known designer. It was surreal, nobody even knew about her father or what he does for a living. Emily wasn't the violent type. She was caring and loving. 

Most importantly, she's a doctor. She saves lives.

Ironic isn't it? A daughter of mafia, a doctor? A killer's daughter, who saves lives. Despite her not liking her father's occupation, she still made the effort to communicate with him, After all, he was her father, something she couldn't change no matter what she does.

Taiwan

It was a hectic morning for Emily. She got called to the ER, a child was unexpectedly born, and is having problems breathing. She rushed to the hospital, still wearing her pajamas.

An hour later the baby was finally breathing fine, which on her part was great. She loved kids with all of her heart, which is also why she decided to become a pediatrician. After studying medicine, she decided to fly back to Taiwan, to be with her father.

"Doc, you have a call," Ruby, her assistant said. "Sure, do forward it," she said, as she yawned. "Should I get you coffee? You look rough," Her assistant joked, and in response, she just chuckled. 

"Coffee would be great, Ruby. Thank you," She replied, and Ruby immediately left the room, rushing to the cafe to grab her drink.

"Yo, wombmate!" Yangyang, her older brother greeted through the phone. "Hello, dear brother, how may I help you?" She replied with a chuckle.

 "Mama, wants to see you," her brother said, which made her sigh. She hasn't visited her mother in a while. Normally she would fly to Paris every three months to go spend time with her, but with her job, sometimes she doesn't have the chance to take a leave.

"I know, I miss her too," she replied, as she took a look at the photo on her desk, it was her mother and Yangyang, standing infront of the Eiffel tower.

 "Can't you make time? I haven't seen you in a while too you know," Yangyang said, trying to convince his twin sister to take a few days off from work.

"Where are you right now though?" She asked him. Her brother's location was always different, frequent flying to Paris- Germany, and Taiwan. 

"Germany. I'll be flying to Paris in an hour," He replied. "Sounds fun, I'm jealous," She replied, as she stood up from her seat, walking towards her window, watching the beautiful view.
