This world contains ordinary humans, as well as supernatural humans called Aliai (singular - Alius). These Aliai have the power to create black spheres which explode as soon as they hit anything other then their creator's skin. Aliai have one or two horns that can grow anywhere on their head and have red eyes.
This story begins to take place in a kingdom called Crystenial. This Kingdom has only pure human inhabitants since they are enemies with the Aliai. Actually, almost all kingdoms are human-only or Aliai-only.
The palace of Crystenial is a sparkly white with a navy blue roof. The King of Crystenial has recently become a man named Mark, who is married to a girl names Marie (who was the original princess but she mainly works as a herbalist).
There are different rankings in the Palace of Crystenial. The King, Queen and the Elders (which is a group that help the king with decisions such as laws) rank the highest in the kingdom then Captains or Commanders rank second (they command and train soldier units). The lowest rankings in the palace are the servants, but it's still an honor to work in the palace so they earn good pay.
Twenty-two years ago, the Kingdom of Crystenial lost a very important Captain. This Captain was highly honored and even rumored to be the next king, but he ended up betraying his home and position in the middle of a risky mission. Word wasn't spread in public about why he left the Kingdom, so most people were left in the dark. Even after twenty-two years, people still continue to speak about this Captain.
After this Captain left, though, there was a surprising time of peace to kingdoms that were allied with Crystenial. Now, however, there was a strong tension in the air and rumors began to speak about a war that would be against a kingdom of Aliai.
Back inside the palace of Crystenial, down the halls and into a room stood a 19-year-old girl with golden hair and azure eyes named Aria. This servant girl helped with gardening and she was a respected servant - the King really liked her. Sometimes she was able to partake in missions that soldiers went to and would clean wounds or take care of any necessities. She was a strong, responsible girl... and our protagonist.
