Weeks had dragged on for Dream since George's return to Florida, each day marked by a mixture of relief and lingering anxiety. They had opted for first class on their flight back, a luxury that seemed distant amidst their shared ordeal. Surprisingly, George's recovery had been swifter than expected, a testament to his resilience and the healing power of being back home.

As the hours passed on the flight, they settled into their seats, the gentle hum of the aircraft a backdrop to the closeness they shared. But then, unexpectedly, turbulence shook the plane, rattling their nerves. The intercom crackled to life with a delay announcement due to rain.

George instinctively clutched onto Dream, their hands intertwined in a desperate grip. They held each other close, unaware of the turmoil that lay ahead. In an instant, darkness enveloped Dream's consciousness.

"Huh!!!!!!" Dream jolted awake, heart racing as he found himself back in familiar surroundings, George peacefully sleeping beside him. "Wha-....George!"

"Hm, what?" George stirred, blinking sleepily.

"We were on a plane... What happened?"

"Dream, that was hours ago. We're in Florida, back at your house," George reassured him gently.

"But-but-" Dream's words faltered as George leaned in and kissed him, a tender reassurance that grounded Dream in the present moment.

They shared a moment of intimacy, their kisses deepening as George guided Dream to relax. "Dream, it's just a nightmare. We're here now," George whispered against his ear, his voice a soothing balm to Dream's unsettled mind. They kissed until Dream felt calm, George's presence reassuring him that everything was alright.

They fell asleep in each other's arms, Dream finding solace in the steady rhythm of George's breathing, a reminder that they were safe and together.

Morning arrived with a soft knock at the door, rousing Dream from sleep. "Dreaammm~" George murmured drowsily.

"Mmmm---What?"

"Somebody's at the door."

Dream got up, George in tow, still half-asleep as they approached the door.

"Hello?" Dream opened it cautiously.

"Baby!!!" A blonde girl rushed in eagerly.

"We're not dating anymore. Go away," Dream stated firmly.

"Come on, Clay. One more chance," she pleaded.

"No!"

"Why!?" she persisted.

"I'm dating someone," Dream asserted.

"I'm sure I'm better than her," she retorted.

"Ehem, he..." Dream began, interrupted by George stepping forward and taking his hand.

"Hey baby, who is this?" George interjected calmly.

"This is my ex," Dream explained tersely.

"Who the hell is this?!" the ex-girlfriend demanded, slapping George in a fit of rage.

George's reaction was swift and decisive. He retaliated, swiftly and effectively, defending Dream without hesitation. He kicked her in the gut, slapped her back, and grabbed her by the hair, dragging her towards the door. With a final kick, he propelled her out and locked the door behind her.

Dream couldn't help but feel a rush of admiration for George's protectiveness. "That was... hot," Dream admitted with a grin.

"Why, thank you. You explained yourself too," George replied, a hint of amusement in his voice.

George stepped closer to Dream, the tension dissipating as he playfully jumped into Dream's arms. Dream lifted him effortlessly, George's legs wrapping around his waist, their closeness reaffirming their bond.

"Cuddles?" Dream suggested softly.

"Sure, dreamy," George replied with a smile.

Dream carried George to their bed, laying him down gently before joining him, snuggling close against George's back.

"Hey, George..."

"Hm?" George murmured contentedly.

"I love you," Dream confessed sincerely.

"I love you too,"
