"Sapnap?"
Dream's eyes widened in fear. Sapnap's shoulder stained with thick crimson, seeping through the white shirt, his hand gripping at the wound, trying to stop the blood flowing out of him. He noticed a tall brown haired man being put into a cop car, smiling like an ass as he was forced into the car.
"SAPNAP!" Dream screamed as he ran forward to where the paramedics were lifting the pained man into an ambulance, one of the medics stopped him, asking for his relation to the other. Dream quickly lied, claiming they were brothers, just wanting to see his best friend was okay. The medic nodded and stood aside for the blonde to step in, worry filling him as he looked over at his best friend. People surrounded him, some holding cloths onto the wound just under his right shoulder as he continued to make noises of pain and deep breaths, others giving him strange injections with clear liquids. He just had to trust they kept the raven haired boy alive. Dream wouldn't ever admit it out loud but he wouldn't be able to live without him, he would give his life, his pride and power for him.
The hospital drew near, Dream's nerves getting the better of him, breathing quick and panicked. One of the paramedics filled him in on what happened.
"Your brother walked out of your place and into the crossfire of a street fight by two groups trying to dominate the area. The man who shot him has been taken into custody, goes by the name of Wilbur, I think he said. This is going to be sorted, no worried though sir, nothing fatal will come out of the wound. The bullet didn't puncture anything from what we can tell right now." Her voice was soft and slow, pink hair pulled into a small bun behind her head. Dream looked at the name on her uniform. Nikita.
"Nikita?" She looked up at Dream, her eyes meeting his.
"What's wrong sir?"
"Promise me he's going to live."
She nodded her head, placing a hand on the other's shoulder. "I promise you that he will live, he will have scars, maybe some issues with his right arm, but he won't die." Dream thanked her and looked over to is friend, who was still being injected, but the blood flow had slowed a bit. Sapnap's still showed the pain of when the bullet collided with him, only slightly more relaxed now all the painkillers and sleeping drugs had been injected into him. His emerald green eyes met Sapnap's orange-tinted brown eyes, a smile coming from the injured. Dream rolled his eyes, and smiled back at the idiot on the stretcher. Right now, Dream's main priority was making sure Sapnap was okay, and rhats what he did.
Once Sapnap had went through all the surgery, Dream payed for everything and stayed in the same room as him all night, sleeping on the chair next to his bed, head resting next to the younger.
With George
George had just got the news of what happened, Wilbur being arrested and someone being shot. Safe to say, the brunette was not happy when he went to bail Wilbur out. Once they got back, George had ranted to Wilbur about 'how you need to be more careful Will, or there's going to be a day when I won't cover for you.'
Will had just rolled his eyes and agreed to take a bit more care when it came to fights. With a simple nod, Wilbur was excused from the office, leaving a very annoyed George behind. First people who could potentially be a threat were told information about them, and then Wilbur nearly fucking kills a person. Things hadn't been going well for them recently, making George worry. What if something else happened? Like, Wilbur, or even Tubbo or Tommy, could die. He just had to make sure that didn't happen, by any means possible. Tommy and Tubbo were only young, but undeniably skilled and cut out for this lifestyle, so George took them in, becoming somewhat of a father figure to the young boys. When they joined they were only 15 and 16, now Tommy was 17 and Tubbo coming up for 18. George left the office and went to his room, opening the door and locking it behind him, he needed time alone to calm down.
He changed into a hoodie and baggy jeans, falling onto his bed and closing his eyes, letting himself drift to sleep, pulling the sheets over him.
He looked at the scene before him, stuck like a deer in headlights. Blood painted the floor a gnarly red, distracting his mind for seconds before he realized it wasn't his own. Wilbur was in front of him, hair messy and beanie off center. Tears spilled out his eyes as he looked over to something in the distance. A single white sheet was lying on the floor, Tubbo knelt over it, head in hands and crying. George pushed dark strands away from his eyes as he made his way to the young boy. He laid a hand on his shoulder and crouched to the others height, laying a hand on his shoulder and peering curiously at the sheet, the white slowly being taken over by the crimson. Tubbo buried his head in George's chest, gripping tightly to the others shirt as he cried.
"What's under there?" George questioned whilst rubbing circles into the small boys back, trying his best to comfort him. Tubbo just shook his head as if in denial at something, like he refused to believe that it was happening. Wilbur's hand was suddenly resting on George's shoulder, hand tensing every few seconds as he continued to try hide his tears.
"Tommy was caught up in a fight... and let's just say, there were more of them there for just him. He got surrounded and well... this happened." Wilbur chocked out in between hidden sobs. The cover slid away from his body, revealing his face, the pain still visible on his lifeless corpse. Tears escaped George's eyes before he realized what was happening.
"TOMMY?"
George had never heard that voice before, yet it was an undeniably Geordie accent. A winged man was sprinting over, tears forming in his eyes. He fell to his knees in front of the lifeless kid. He looked up at George and Wilbur before smiling at Tubbo.
"What happened to him Tubbo?"
George woke with a start, sweat rolling down his head and breathing staggered. Who was he? How did a hybrid somehow care about them, and how did he know Tubbo and Tommy? Questions raced through George's head as he shook slightly from the shock of Tommy's 'death', drying his eyes, only now realizing he was crying.
Distant talking could be heard from the corridor, followed by one of Tommy's unnecessarily loud laughs. The brunette sighed with relief, knowing Tommy was still alive. He stood up, making his way to the bathroom connected to his room, turning on the shower and slowly getting undressed. He stepped into the shower, feeling the warm water flowing over his body.
~With Dream~
Dream had only left the hospital minutes ago, but still missed Sapnap as if he had been gone for days. He pulled up to his house, seeing Karl and Antfrost outside in the sun. He stepped out the car, pulling the keys out of the ignition, closing the door and locking the car, double checking just be safe. The two boys smiled to Dream as he entered the house, both asking how Sapnap was.
"He's fine, just has to stay in hospital for a while until he heals a little more and the bullet gets removed." They both nodded and wished Dream the best before both departing different ways, Antfrost to his and Velvet's shared room, and Karl to his room.
Dream made his way to the living room of his mansion, settling down on the large sofa near Schlatt, holding up conversation for a while, finally distracting Dream's mind from Sapnap, even if it was only for a few minutes
