I wish this school wasn't so big. I've ran up many stairs losing breath hoping I'd make it to the new music room. I swear, even my knees were shaking and I think I bruised my hands from how much I almost fell face front toward the stairs.
Finally after all the pain, I made it to Room 8B. Knowing that no one ever used this room, it looked really creepy and sort of bleak. The door looked like one of those old doors you see on TV. Old, weak, the color was a type of brown but that brown was off color, lastly, and most annoyingly, creaky noise. I have this thing towards small weird noises. They just freak me out!
Opening the door, I see many dusts, webs, and messed up chairs and desks. Some were set horizontal, upside down, a missing leg on a chair, and complete dusty. This is going to take a long time to remodel and decorate. But overall I was excited and couldn't wait to tell my friends that we'll have our music room set soon!
Running down that long painful stairs, I met Caroline.
Caroline is my best friend ever since the seventh grade.
We've been through a lot together and I couldn't be more thankful for her being by my side with everything.
With Her silky blonde hair going down to her shoulders, blue shiny eyes, perfect white teeth, and great skin tone, she can pull off going out with any guy.
But that's the thing I love about Caroline; she doesn't use her appearance to her advantage, she never had a lover in her life either! She is one of those golden girls that can never be touched.
"Em!" Caroline yelled running towards me while I'm still catching my breath from the long evil stairs.
"Care, Hey what's going on?" I said trying to stand up straight.
"Wait. Let me guess, stairs of hell and terror?" She asked jokingly.
"Oh my God yes.. How'd you know?" I asked so curiously.
"Every newbie who never went up there goes through with that terrible experience. But really there is a shortcut if you cut through class A6 which is one floor away from us." She said sounding so smart and confident.
"Ahh I see, but wait, how do you know about those stairs? You never told me you've been there before?" I told her with a caution expression.
She was going to say something but that's when Megan came in and interrupted our conversation.
Don't get me wrong Megan is a sweetheart.
Knowing her for almost two years was one of the best times of my life when Caroline introduced me to her.
I guess you can say She's almost the opposite of Care? She had short red hair, honey browned eyes, and she loves putting on dark red lipstick to brighten out her pretty teeth. Oh and the freckles. Don't forget the freckles. And by opposite of Caroline I mean the advantage way. Yep, she was known for the best kisser in school and she has no problem facing any rumor that comes across her because either she doesn't care, or it actually happened.
"Hey losers, did you guys see Amanda anywhere lately? That witch owes me money from the time I spent gas on her dumb ass." Megan said carelessly.
"Well, we wouldn't know where people are better than you, Meg." Caroline friendly insulted her with a wink.
Megan laughed and shoved Care into me and we both started laughing. "Whatever I'm going to go get something to drink I'll be right back." Megan added.
"Wait, I have special news to tell you girls. How about we look for Amanda and then get your stupid drink." I stated, hoping they would agree. At first they seemed curious of what I was about to tell them. But then they nodded and accepted the fact that we'd get Megan's stupid drink later.
The First place we checked was the library. Amanda was one of those smart poetic girls who would always be cheerful and supportive to others. I knew her just a few months ago when we were going to Dan's party. When I first looked at her, I thought she would be the innocent, quiet, and sensitive girl. Judging on her long wavy black hair, cute glasses and pretty big brown eyes. But clearly she wasn't. She is the type of girl whenever its time to study she'd get serious, and when its time to party, she goes all Kesha mode.
"Ahha! There you are you thief! We were looking for you!" Meg shouted in the library.
Amanda shushed her reminding her and maybe us that we're in a library. Amanda has this soft pleasant voice that I can't get over it.
"I'm sorry, I was catching up on this book that got me interested in reading then I kind of got lost and-"
"Shut up, you're coming with us, nerd. Miss sunshine has something important to say." Megan said cutting Amanda off while grabbing her wrist moving toward the cafeteria room.
"Okay we're all here now, want tell us what's going on?" Megan reminded me making everyone seem curious again.
