Nibutani's P.O.V:
I woke up, and I immediately made eye contact with a pair of eyes.
"Good morning, sweetie!"
"Gah!"
I jumped and fell off my bed, landing on the floor with a thud.
"Jeez..." I groan as I sit up and rub the back of my now sore head.
I looked up, "Mom! Why did you do that???" I shout, making my way back to my feet with a glare of annoyance.
"Welllll, you're going see your friend from school today, right?" My mom asked, tapping her chin while making a thinking face.
She was always so dramatic.
I give her a shy nod, "Y-Yes, I am going to see Dekomori." I stuttered.
Wait, why in the world did I stutter???
My mom smiled brightly, "That's wonderful, sweetie! She's that newer student who is really smart, right?"
"I wouldn't call her smart..." I mumbled.
Smack!
"Ow!" I yelped, rubbing my now red arm.
"Shinka Nibutani, you know better than to insult people!" My mom scolded.
I winced, she could really be nice and then mean in a second. Heh, I'm glad that I'm not like her.
"I'm sorry, mom..." I apologized, looking down.
I felt arms rap around me and give me a shaky hug, "Aww, how can I be mad at my little crabby cakes?!?" She replied cheerfully, grinning brightly.
Ugh, she called me that ever since I was three...
"Mom, I told you, stop calling me crabby cakes!" I whined.
She just huffed and let go of me, "But, dear, it suits you so much!" She clapped her hands.
I sweatdropped, "Eh...not really..." I smiled nervously.
She stood up and extended her hand, which I gladly took so I could hoist myself back up to my feet.
I quirk an eyebrow as I saw her put a spare blanket, a toothbrush and tooth paste, and a small inflated pillow into my already packed and ready bag.
"Mom, why did you do that?" I asked her.
She hummed happily as she zipped by once zipped bag. "Welllll," she trailed off like she almost always does, "You're going to have a sleepover!~" She cooed happily.
My eyes widened, "What?!? Why would I have a sleep over with her?!?" I shout absent-mindedly.
My mother looked at me, and placed my bag onto my shoulder.
Slam!
The front door to our house slammed behind me, I heard a click, it was now locked.
I stood on my porch awkwardly, letting my hands lay by my sides.
I should've kept my mouth shut.
With that thought out of the way, I let out a sigh, pulling out my phone.
I went to Dekomori's contact in order to pull up the address she texted me.
After I read what it was, I turned my phone off, placed it in my pocket, and made my way towards her place.
*Timeskip: when Nibutani arrives*
I look up at Dekomori's place in awe, it was so freaking huge!
"Holy fuck..." I accidentally cursed. I couldn't help it, her place was just too huge!
Snapping out of my very much initial shock, I rang the expensive ass looking doorbell.
Much to my surprise, a maid awnsered the door, and very quickly, too.
"Good morning." She said to me and bowed out of respect.
I awkwardly bowed back in response, "Good morning."
She stood up straight, I mirrored her actions out of slight nervousness.
"Ah, you must be Lady Dekomori's friend." She smiled at me, it sent slight shivers down my spine.
I gulped and nodded hesitantly, "Yes...Yes, we are friends." I smiled, playing with my fingers.
She eyed me suspiciously, before smiling. "Well, do come in!" She stepped to the side, opening the door for me as a sign that I am welcomed in.
I looked to the left and right of me anxiously, knowing that I couldn't keep this maid waiting for too long.
I nervously sighed, shifting my head towards the entrance of the door, peering into the entrance with my brown-ish if not completely brown, eyes.
She looked over at me, "Are you alright?" She asked me with concern in her eyes.
I snapped out of it, nodding to her swiftly. "O-Oh? Uhm, yes, I'm perfectly fine!" I give her a "confident" smile.
Much to my advantage, she bought it.
I was embarrassed, very, very embarrassed. But I pushed that all to the side.
Gathering my nervousness and hiding it deep within me, I stepped into Dekomori's place.
I heard the door shut behind me within the two seconds that I have entered.
A/N: I'm sorry for the short chapter, I needed a short bridge like chapter in order to execute my idea on how I'll continue this story.
