FORMIDABLE volition is mostly viewed as something dreadful as it agonizes people to select between choices and between possibilities. But apparently, taking the risky choice is a positive indication that a person can preside a situation that he/she entered and chose; it proves how a person has a steady mentality to stand for his/her choices.

Currently, Dahyun gulped and there she only noticed that her throat seemed dried. Just looking at the blue, red, purple yellow, green, and orange lights blinking on the small windows of the nightclub where the wild Son Chaeyoung decided to celebrate her 20th birthday, made Dahyun's nerves feel numb and her sweat glands produced non stopping cold waters.

"JK, I think I can't do this. Come on, just send me back home. I think Chaeng-ie will understand if I won't be able to attend her party." Dahyun's voice cut the comfortable silence reigning inside the closed vehicle of Jungkook.

The two had been inside that vehicle for almost 15 minutes since they arrived at the parking lot of the said place. Jungkook's still testing the waters. He doesn't really want to take Dahyun at that place, not when she refused Chaeyoung's invitation for three times the previous days. It really surprised him when Dahyun suddenly decided to go with them and promised Chaeyoung to be at her party just after their classes ended for the day. Knowing that it's Dahyun's first time going out to go partying, he's certain that Dahyun would immediately change her mind after contemplating what would possibly happen to her on that place. So, instead of telling her to get out of the car and proceed inside, he remained silent and waited for her to tell him to get out of that place.

'It's for her safety after all. She doesn't know what's waiting for her inside,' he mused while tapping his index finger on the steering wheel of his car.

Truthfully, on Dahyun's previous life, she remembers that she hadn't gone to Chaeyoung's 20th birthday party and just reviewed her notes to prepare for their upcoming quiz for their major subject instead. Originally, Dahyun preferred staying at home, reading and doing other boring stuffs instead of partying and attending events which involves socializing with people whom she aren't familiar with. She's originally the type of girl who's satisfied with her own circle of friends, she only likes to bond with Jungkook and Chaeyoung. But, she doesn't isolate herself from other people. She still has this friendly demeanor towards her classmates and other people she meets. But, she only treat and look at them as acquaintances with shallower relationship.

Also, on her previous life, Dahyun missed all the fun, and after reading her diary the night before, she realized that she needs to slightly loosen her guard down. She thought that she's also a human who needs to feel some fun and enjoy her teenage days, in fact, she's trying to change her future. And who knows? Maybe the change will start by that simple risk she's trying to take.

Jungkook nodded at Dahyun in full understanding. He is just waiting for her to say those words herself. "Okay, let me take you home n---"

"Aish!" Dahyun cursed, cutting Jungkook's statement. She abruptly reached for his hand which is already prepared to start the engine of his car.

With furrowed brows and confused expression, Jungkook turned to her. He didn't speak a word, he waited for her to say what she got inside her mind and why did she suddenly cursed and stopped him from starting the car's engine.

'This girl is really making me crazy!'

She closed her eyes and sighed in pure determination. She soon opened her eyes and looked straight to his. "I changed my mind. . . Let's do this, JK. Partying's fun, isn't it? We're just gonna dance, eat, and socialize there, right? Nothing's harmful with doing that, right? No drinking, right?" she asked, resembling a child who's looking at her mother asking for an assurance whether playing under the rain is fine and will cause her no harm.
