((nobody's pov))
Hailey Talson had just gotten out of the hospital from giving birth to her first child, Elliot Talson in Paris, France. she was lying in bed her eyes closed, Elliot started crying from his crib on the other side of the room. "Smith, where are you?!" she called for her husband while getting up to go calm Elliot. it was 6 am so normally Smith would be getting up but it seemed he was already up.
"I'm heading to work!!" he called from the lobby of thier mansion. she went and picked Elliot up carefully and went downstairs to catch Smith before he left to say good bye to him.
by the time she got down he was already gone. Elliot went and cooed and held his his arms out towards his mother. Hailey went and held her son's hand "your father may not always be here, but I will always be here". she went back upstairs with Elliot.
((time skip))
Smith had gotten out of his car and had gotten assistance from the house staff to put his car away and to pick up his bags and bring them to his room. Hailey had came down the stairs holding Elliot "Smith!", Smith turned his year to look in the direction of Hailey. "I have to go to my night shift can you take Elliot, he's already been fed" Hailey had said. She had been working as a night guard at a local mall since college even though Smith told her to quit her job because he already had enough to let both of them have a good life; since he was stinking rich being the CEO of a fashion company, she still persisted she keep the job.
"Alright" Smith had taken Elliot out of Hailey's arms, Hailey had kissed Smiths cheek. "bye bye you two, I'll be back at 6 tomorrow morning!" she went and left the house.
Smith looked down to his son who was asleep in his arms, "why did I have to have a kid, this only gets in the way of my work..." he said to himself. he went and called the house maid to take Elliot to his room to put him to bed. he handed Elliot to the maid. "are you sure you don't want to tuck him in yourself ,sir?" the maid asked Smith, "yes I need to work, I don't have time for it" he responded to the maid and walked away to go to his office.
