Life is a riddle

Christmas ball

It was now the Christmas holidays and my father had told me to stay at malfoy manor, Ia had begged to come with me. I sat in the room I always stayed in staring at the ceiling bored out of my mind. For some reason Draco and Leo were being secretive about stuff and were kinda ignoring us. Ia was sleeping at the moment or something like that. I sighed and stood up. I walked out of my room and instantly ran into someone. I fell over and looked to see Draco, who was trying hard not to laugh. He held his hand out to help me up, to which I accepted. "You alright didi.?" He asked sitting back down on my bed with me. "Yeah fine. Now mind telling me why you were standing there." I said sarcastically. Draco laughed.
"I wanted to ask you something." He said smiling at me.
"And that is" I said twirling my hand.
"The day before Christmas there's a ball. And I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me." He said smiling. I nodded furiously and hugged him.
"Of course I wanna go with you." I said. As I released him I heard a high pitched excited scream. "Sounds like Leo asked Ia." Draco said standing up and walking out.

Time skip to just before the ball.
I stood infront of the mirror looking over my black dress. I'd done a little bit of makeup but not much, I'd also left my hair out seeing as if I did it up everyone,would see my dark mark. I looked at Ia who was doing her hair in a high bun but leaving her fringe out. She had a bit more makeup then I did, her dress was red and black and suited her perfectly. "Awww you look pretty Ia. Leo is going to adore you." I said fixing a stray hair on her head. "Thanks Delilah. You look pretty yourself. I know Draco is gonna love your dress." She said smiling at me. I heard a knock on my door and walked I over to it. I opened it slightly sticking my head out. "Yes" I said sweetly to the black haired boy. "Are you girls almost ready?" He asked smiling. I looked back at Ia, then back to him. "We need five more minuets." I said closing the door.
"Why did you say that we're both ready now." Ia asked looking at me confused. I shrugged. "Felt like annoying them." I said helping her up. "Come on let's go" I continued dragging her out of the room. We walked to the living room and laughed as the twins jaws literally dropped.

Time skip to da ball.
I walked into the large ballroom next to Draco, Ia and Leo behind us. We walked down the stairs and nose instantly cringed at a familiar scent. I looked back at Ia seeing she was the same. "You smell it too?" I said to her ignoring Leo and Draco's confused looks. She nodded. "Werewolf" she hissed. Me and Ia silently agreed to ignore the smell and just enjoy the night while it lasted. "Come on didi. Dance with me." Draco said pulling me. "But I suck at dancing." I whined. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Didi, I've seen you dance and you dance fine. Your just being lazy" he said putting his hand on my waist and holding my other hand. "You caught me" I said jokingly putting my hand on his shoulder. We danced for awhile then I noticed the smell of the wolf had gotten stronger. Me and Draco stopped dancing and my eyes instantly darted towards a familiar black haired boy. Ignoring the annoyed look Draco gave me, I walked over to him.

"Hi Nitro. How's your hand? Oh and who's this?" I asked seeing a boy beside him with black hair with red tips. "Oh. Hey. Uhh the hands fine. Delilah this is Duncan. Duncan this is Delilah. Delilah's the one that broke my hand." He said laughing slightly at the last part. "Uhhh hi Delilah. Nice to meet you." Duncan said scratching the back of his neck. "So Nitro who you here with?" I asked directing my attention back to him.
"I'm here with Duncan" nitro said casually. I gave him a confused look before realising what he meant. My eyes widened. "Awww nitro that's adorable." I said excitedly. I hugged Duncan but quickly released him. "You" I hissed. "You're the werewolf." I continued glaring. "Uhhh yeah..... But how do you know?" He asked confused.

I allowed my fangs to grow and showed him. "Vampire" he muttered. I nodded shortening my fangs again. "That's right you filthy mutt." I spat walking back to the others. "What's the matter didi?" Draco asked seeing my angry expression. I huffed and sat down. "I found the werewolf. He's over there with Nitro. Apparently their dating." I grumbled glaring at them.
"That's cute but so annoying" Ia said joining me in glaring. I looked back at Draco and stopped frowning a bit. "Come on let's dance again." I said wanting to distract myself.

Time skip next morning.
I woke up with my feet aching. "Ugh I hate dancing........ Hay wait a minute it's Christmas." I squealed seeing a large pile of presents at the end of my bed. I started opening them this is what I got.
Dad: three black dresses and a silver snake ring.
Draco's parents: three more dresses. On black, purple and green
Ia: two new pairs of black boots, and a pair of earrings.
Leo: a purple rose, a box of my fav candy and a spiky head band.
Draco: a snake necklace, another dress, another pair of boots and a scarf.
"I love my friends" I said putting my new necklace on. This is what I got for all my friends.
Ia: a tiger paw necklace.
Dad: a wig, and a rune stone.
Draco: chocolate and a silver watch with diamond numbers
Leo: chocolate and a silver watch with ruby numbers
Nitro: chocolate
Luna: a yellow dress and chocolate.

((By the way, the blue suit is what Nitro was wearing and the black suit is what Duncan was wearing.))
