Percy woke up the next morning. He had forgotten he was in an orphanage. Charlotte came in. "Oh! Good morning! I was coming to get you. Breakfast is ready-" She stopped and he glared at her. "It's not a good morning when I've lost everything, and everyone I loved." Percy said as he glared at her. She clearly wasn't having it so, she gave him the same look back. "Go back to bed, you're not staying awake with that nasty attitude." She said, and Percy was gonna walk past her but she shoved him back into the bed and he fell on his back.

He looked at her and growled... "If you're gonna have and attitude, and take it out on me, you're dead wrong." Percy got up after she said that, and tried hitting her with a pillow, but she dodged and tripped him. He became more angry and he swung his leg, knocking it into her legs and he made her fall over. Charlotte tried to crawl away, but he got her ankles and dragged her back and she squeaked and he pinned her down. However, he was not aware of her next move. She threw her head back and he got up backing away into the wall. She got up quickly, but before she could run out of the room, she heard him whimpering. He slid down against the wall covering his face.

"Seriously? I didn't even hit you that hard-" He started to sob and cry. That's when she sas some blood coming down his wrist. She looked at him and rubbed her arm. She grabbed his hand and pulled it away from his face. He tried pulling away from her. "Stop it! You're bleeding from your nose!" She said and pulled out a handkerchief from her little apron pocket. Charlotte put it to his nose gently. She sighed. "Sorry... I should've just let you be grumpy instead of trying to fix things my way..." Charlotte said softly. Percy just looked at her, he was staring at her eyes. Her eyes were somewhat surprising to him.... He found them pretty, and he didn't think they would be this pretty, especially with the sun light from the window hitting them. She was talking, but her voice was drowned out as he began to blush from staring at her eyes.

"Hello?!" She snapped her fingers in front of his face. Charlotte rolled her eyes and she then rose her free hand and hit his crotch. He snapped out of his little trance. "Ow! Jesus, girl! Haven't you hurt me enough?!" He said holding his crotch area. "SSSSSS.... Ow... Jesus you hit hard." He said wincing in pain. "Thank you. " She said, taking it like a compliment. "Your eyes are very pretty though...."

She blushed and looked away. He honestly couldn't understand this feeling.... Just looking at her and hearing her voice was giving him shivers and making his heart thump fast. He blushed and looked away from her, he didn't know why he felt that. He smiled a little. "We should probably go get our break fast before it gets cold. C'mon." She said and stood up. She held her hand out to him. "Also keep the cloth you your nose, otherwise you'll be eating blood." He got her hand and she pulled him up. The two walk to the giant table and sit down to eat. "Well well well... If it isn't little Cherry~ " A boy said looking at Charlotte. Everyone looked at Charlotte and laughed. "I see you're still at it again Randy.... Would be a shame if I just told everyone how many times you've peed the bed." She smirked and everyone ooed. Randy looked at her with a death glare, then he saw Percy taking off his bandaging from his hands. When Percy did... All the kids were either disgusted or shocked and Charlotte looked and saw the different skin tones and pigments of Percy's hand. He had different parts. He ate his food and as he began to chew, he looked at Charlotte and gave her a cute goofy smile. She smiled back.

"Ew! What is wrong with your hand!? That is so fucking disgusting, Rust fluff!" Randy said, insulting him not only because of his hair color, but also his hands, and everyone was either disgusted or they laughed at Percy, and he saw everyone's facial expression that they were making at him. Percy stopped and bandaged his hands back up. He looked down at his lap and his lips quiver as he felt the knot rise in his throat. He began to sob softly and Charlotte could see the tears forming and rolling down his face. "Hey! Leave him alone! He's done nothing to you and I think there is absolutely nothing wrong with him! I think he's perfect just the way he is!" Charlotte said. Percy sniffled and looked up at her. She was glaring at Randy, and Randy smirked at her. "Why? Ya love that freak?" Charlotte looked at Percy's bowl of hot oatmeal and she grabbed it and threw it at Randy which the boy yelled in pain as it landed on his skin. Charlotte grabbed the four bacons from hers and Percy's plate, she grabbed him by the hand and ran with him out the door and behind the orphanage.
