Episode 5: The Sea Gate

Hello again!

I just wanted to apologize for how long these are, I just want to get the full episodes in and for that to happen, there's gonna be a lot of words.

I'm also considering doing a Gwen x Fem!Reader from Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse, so don't be surprised if you see that.

We see the large pictures on the wall showing Queen Angella and King Micah, many other important kingdoms and their leaders surrounding them on the walls.

"Council, we're looking for plans to strengthen our defenses against the Horde." Queen Angella spoke, standing. The others sat in their seats around the circular meeting table.

"Who would like to go first?"

(Y/N) looked quickly to Glimmer, who shot her hand up.

"Ooh, me, me, me." she squeezed her eyes shut as she loudly whispered her pleas. "Me. Me, me."

The Queen sighed, "Who else besides Glimmer would like to go first?" she restated her question.

(Y/N) smiled and held up her hand, waving it around a little. Queen Angella deadpanned at her.

"Anyone else?" Queen Angella glanced around the table. Glimmer rose out of her seat, placing her hands on the table.

"Mom--" she glanced around anxiously and corrected herself. "Uh, Your Majesty." She stood up straight and tucked her hands behind her back. (Y/N) saw she was struggling and stood up beside her, making eye contact with their mother.

"You should let me, Glimmer, Bow, and Adora continue our princess recruitment mission." (Y/N) spoke calmly. Glimmer had finally gained her composure back.

"If we can form a new Princess Alliance, the Rebellion would actually stand a chance for once." Glimmer supplied.

"The princesses withdrew from the last alliance. They chose to focus on protecting their own lands."

"So, are you telling us to just give up? Throw away any potential this idea has?" (Y/N) asked, furrowing her eyebrows and shaking her head.

"Please, let us try." Glimmer begged. "All we're proposing is a diplomatic mission."

"So, what do you propose?" the Queen asked.

(Y/N) tapped the table making the holographic map pop up again.

"Anyone approaching Bright Moon by sea needs to pass through the Salineas Sea Gate."

"It's controlled by Princess Mermista now that her father's retired. This should be the best place to start recruiting because if we have Princess Mermista on our side, the Rebellion could control the seas. We need this alliance with her, Mom." (Y/N) took over.

"That journey is treacherous, Girls. I'm not sure." the Queen shook her head, not wanting her daughters in danger.

"Don't worry, Mom. With She-Ra, we can conquer anything." Glimmer persuaded.

"Uh," Adora mumbled from her seat, "we're also gonna need a boat."

(Y/N) looked down and met her eyes, and nodded, looking back up to her mom.

"With She-Ra and a boat, we can conquer anything." (Y/N) mended, swinging her finger in front of her face.

"And an experienced sea captain." Bow unhelpfully added, making Glimmer groan in annoyance. (Y/N) placed a hand on Glimmer's shoulder, rubbing lightly in comfort.
