Jisoo- A night to remember.

"Okay, we are going to solve this problem like adults." Jennie looked up at all of you in the eye.

You guys have a week off and everyone wanted to spend the holidays in Jeju island. You, Jisoo, Lisa, Rosé, and Jennie all flew in from Kimpo international airport in the evening.

After travelling for an hour, you reached the hotel. There were two rooms, one with one large bed and the other with three smaller ones, both connected by common living room.

That wasn't the problem though. The problem was that the hotel staff that lead you to your rooms said that one of the rooms had strong sunlight seeping in early in the morning. And the second problem was that all the rooms were already filled and everyone was too tired to go to another hotel just for a few extra hours of sleep.

Since, all of you work had worked continuously for months at your hard jobs, with the girls being idols and you being a CEO of a fashion company, everyone wanted to sleep in the next day, before exploring the island. And strong early morning sun rays was definitely an obstacle to good sleep.

All that lead to this moment.

"Rock, paper, scissors it is", Jennie said, making everyone else groan.

"I always loose though", Rosé whined, wrapping her arms around Lisa, who laughed at her.

"Come on girls. This will be fare and square. There is no possibility of cheating. Winners will get the room with the three beds and loosers will share the larger bed in that cursed room." Jennie looked at everyone again, already forming a fist behind her head ready to let the game start. We all followed.

"Rock, paper, scissors!" I closed my eyes and put my arm forward with paper. Slowly opening my eyes I saw that both Jisoo and I had papers, while the others had rock.

"OMG, I won. I won Lisaa!" Rosé jumped up and down, giggling crazily, making Lisa roll her eyes.

"Oh, come on. Why don't we all share the three beds ha?" I suggest, smiling them with my best puppy eyes.

"That is so not happening. Goodbye unnie. Goodbye y/n." Lisa dragged both Jennie and Rosé to their room, while Jisoo and I stared at their backs.

"Let's go." Jisoo held my hand and lead me to our room, with our suitcases dragging behind.

See, this is where the problem really started for me. I don't mind the early morning light as much as I mind sharing a bed with Jisoo.

The girls have known me for 5 years now. We met near the han river, when I slipped on some ice and fell and the girls helped me out and took me to the hospital. We have been besties since then. And I have had a major crush on the self proclaimed turtle-rabbit since the first day.

She is literally the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Looking at her the first time, I thought that she would be calm and composed and maybe even a little cold. But, boy was I wrong.

Turns out she is the most goofiest, kindest and funniest human on earth. Everything she does, every word she says, makes my heart flutter. And it has been fluttering for the past 5 years. Sometimes I even worry about getting a heart attack when she is around.

So yeah, I have been in love with one of my best friends for years and never had the guts to tell, 'cause I never want to ruin our friendship if things dont go as I plan.

Jisoo closed the door to the room once we entered and locked the doors. We both put aside our luggages and decided to freshen up after putting out toiletries in the bathroom.

I hope she is too tired to talk or do anything and just goes to sleep. I have almost always succeeded in not being alone with her because I dont know if I will be able to control myself around her.

"You freshen up first, then I will go." She said pointing to the bathroom. I nodded my head and took my pyajamas and walked to the bathroom.

"Okay, deep breaths y/n. You can do this. Its just one night. What can really even happen?" Giving myself the prep talk, I changed my clothes and started brushing my teeth.

In the room, Jisoo paced around, internally screaming. She couldnt believe how lucky she was today. She has liked y/n since the day she saw her. She looked so pretty the day they met, with tears in her beautiful eyes as the girls and she helped y/n up.

Jisoo had tried to confess to y/n a few times by now, but luck never let them be alone. There was always one member or the other along with them. It almost seemed deliberate.

Tonight was her chance to tell y/n how much she liked her. It didnt matter if y/n didn't like her back, Jisoo just wanted to confess her overwhelming feelings to the girl she loved.

With purpose Jisoo put her head up and walked into the bathroom.

You were brushing your teeth, when Jisoo walked in, shocking you. The brush nearly fell out of your mouth when Jisoo back hugged you, while reaching for her own toothbrush.

"This way we can go to sleep faster, baby", Jisoo still had one of her arms wrapped around you.

Your breath hitched. Maybe you were going delusional, but you can bet your life that Jisoo called you baby with her arms wrapped around you like she owned you.
You gave out a nervous laugh and just nodded your head.

After the both of you finnished brushing, you moved to the room.
Getting under the blankets you moved to your side, trying to distance yourself from the other girl and closed your eyes.

"I don't bite, you know. You seem like you will fall down any moment. Come here." Jisoo pulled you towards her in the middle of the bed, extended your arm and put her head on it. She wrapped her upper arm around your torso and sighed deeply, as if contended.

Your are sure you lost a few brain cells with how fast your thoughts were running. You didn't know what to do.

This has never happened before. You have never cuddled with jisoo before, like you do with Rosé and Lisa. But you cuddle with the other two because you connect with them as friend the most due to your similar age.

You couldn't believe that you had Jisoo in your arms.

"Haha. Unnie are you tired? We have never cuddled before." You only started to relax under her caressing arm, when she abruptly shoots up and sits on the bed, looking right at you.

"Look y/n. I am just going to tell you." She had this determined look in her eyes. You nodded at her to go on.

"I have been in love with you since the day i saw you. I love everything about you. And i just can't go on any further without asking you to be mine atleast once. So, y/n y/l. Would you please do the honor of being my girlfriend?" You felt tears gather in your eyes and a sob left your lips as you looked at her.

"Or maybe not if thats the reaction I am getting. You don't have to be my girlfriend, just don't cry. I can't..." Jisoo couldn't finish her sentence as you sprung up, held her cheeks in your hands and kissed her deeply.

"Yes. YES. YES!" You kissed her again and again. "Aww. You don't know how happy I am. I have loved you for forever, but couldn't tell you because I was afraid that it would ruin our friendship."

Jisoo smiled at you and gave you another kiss. You cuddled with your new girlfriend.

You still couldn't believe that Jisoo had liked you bsck for all these years. You know what they say, 'better late than never'.

You smile and watched her fall asleep with a hint of a smile on her face.

Holy hell! This was the best day of your life. Was this a night to remember!
