“ I don't remember anything related to that old man! Want shall I do?" Prachi asked Mr. Angre after returning.

“ Be patient!"

I switched to another company, as I couldn't make trustworthy friends there. Now that I have told the truth to Ishani and Sia, I don't think I will have anymore problems with friends." Prachi said.

You have also apologized Vansh. I don't think you and Ranbir would  have anymore rifts." Mr.Angre added.

“ Yeah! Karma is doing it's part. I will have to dilute my other mistakes too." Prachi stressed.

The night, Prachi broke down again, as she couldn't recollect who is that old man in her dream.

“ May be it's linked to money. That's why I lost all my savings to thieves!" Prachi cried.

I want a  machine, that records dreams." Prachi is adamant.

Ranbir some how made her rest.

He dialled her best friend Kushi, and asked if she knew any such scenario

He dialled her best friend Kushi, and asked if she knew any such scenario.

“ I will ping you if I remember any!" Kushi said.

Ranbir..... I saw our college in that dream!" Prachi suddenly said the afternoon, digging her mind.

“ Ranbir, actually  Prachi and I were impressed by a Multi level marketing company idea, during first year of college." Kushi on call said.

“ So?" Ranbir wondered.

“ Prachi and I invested  17k each in it. But we failed to make more than 700, we are scared of parents learning about it too. "

“ Ooh! But how is this interlinked to her dream?"

“ We both ran out of money to pay hostel fee. Neither we could tell the truth to parents. We somehow managed to extract 10k each from parents. But we both needed 7k extra."

“ Ooh!"

“ Ooh!"

“ One day evening when we were roaming in college premises, we found a bag with 14k. The money we desperately need."

“ What?"

“ Yeah! I convinced Prachi to not to inform college management and she reluctantly agreed."

“ OMG!"

And after a few days, when we were on scooty, we overhead an old man crying his heart out to help him, in finding his money. But Prachi already filled with guilt hit a wall in hurry. She was injured and was in shock, while I was safe. She probably forgot what that incident is about. And I never raised that topic again, as I was afraid of us being accused as thieves."

“ So, Prachi might have memorized that incident partially." Ranbir decoded.

Ranbir reminded Prachi of this incident.

Kushi inquired about what happened next at college with that old man, through a college friend.

“ The principal called police to ask the old man, not to create trouble at college. As the old man kept on pestering that his money was somewhere in college premises!" Kushi told Prachi.

They both somehow reached the police, who came there to drive away that old man.

“ The old man complained us, that he lost his money. Though it was little amount, I know how huge it is for the poor and middle class. When I inquired, I found it was his 18-teen -year old grandson, who stole it. But when asked, he said that he accidentally lost that bag, in college premises. " The Policeman added.

“ I'm retired now. That boy  is also a police officer now. He can help you in reaching the old man I guess, I don't know about their whereabouts. Glad that you realized your mistake!" The Policeman  said.

“ Hello this sub inspector Arnav, how can I help you?" The grown up boy asked, when Prachi, Ranbir and Kushi reached him.

Kushi told him everything and they apologized.

“ It's my fault too. I was also naive that time. My grandparents brought me up. But I was in a bad circle and was a spoilt brat that time. I absconded with money, my grandpa saved to get medicine for my grandma. And karma played it's part. I lost that money. And we lost our grandma too. " Arnav sighed.

Prachi and Kushi broke into tears

Prachi and Kushi broke into tears.

“ If grandma had medication on time , she would have survived for one or two more months . My grandpa's distress and agony made me realize what self less love is, how important money is!"

“ I'm sorry. If I had told Prachi about him, she must have retuned the money. Your grandpa might have had satisfaction, that he tried to save his wife at least." Kushi felt extremely guilty, that she forgot about that incident, considering that amount to be meagre.

“ Can we meet your grandpa personally?" Prachi asked.

“ Actually....." Arnav paused.
