Chapter Thirteen

Anastasia's POV

"He what!?" 

Lucien growled.

"Lucien calm down and breathe"

I said softly.

"Anastasia you are MY mate. Not his. I will make it well known that you're mine."

He said possessively. His voice lowered a few octaves and it made me shiver in delight. However I couldn't be affected by his voice right now he's pissed off and ready to kill Marcus.

His eye were glowing, letting me know that his wolf side was pushing through. If I don't calm him down he's gonna start a fight bigger than we need. He'll start a pack war.

"Lucien come here"

I said soft but firm at the same time.

His blazing eyes met mine and softened a little. Slowly he made his way to me. Once he was in front of me he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me flush to him.

Although I was blushing like an idiot at our proximity I leaned up and put his head in my neck. This is one of the many ways that mates calm down the other when they're angry and their wolf is pushing through.

His grip on me tightened at first as he inhaled my scent deeply to calm himself down. After a few deep breath's he loosened his grip but still held onto me.

"I hate the idea of another man touching you let alone trying to mate you. The fact that he knows you both would one day find your mate and still ignored that is beyond me. However, from this day on you're mine Anastasia and only mine. I will not share you. I'll make it known to all who's mate you are. "

He said with finality. There's no stopping him from telling everyone that he's my mate, that's fine. I just don't want a pack war over something as trivial as Marcus having a thing for me.

"Just don't start a pack war over this Lucien. It's not worth it" 

I said softly while gazing into his gorgeous eyes.

Lucien nodded and before I could say anything else he picked me up bridal style and threw me on the bed, soon following after.

The rest of the night we ate, watched a movie and fell into a dreamless slumber.

                     * The Next Day*

I awoke in the arms of my mate Alpha Lucien Black. I was still shocked with how this all came to be so far but grateful at the same time.

I've never had a boyfriend before and with finding my mate I'm not sure how this will go or even how it's supposed to be. I'm not used to letting anyone in besides Theo. He's been my best friend since I could remember. I trust him whole heartedly.

"Stop thinking so hard little one"

Lucien said while pulling me closer.

"I'm not but I am thinking about how bad I have to pee!"

I said trying to pry his arms off of me.

"Alpha Black if you don't let go of me so I can pee you'll find yourself getting your ass kicked"

I was smirking while finishing with a sickly sweet voice taunting him.

He loosened his hold on me just enough to get away while he was caught off guard.

I bolted into the bathroom and locked the door.

After using the bathroom I came out to get my clothes to shower. I grabbed my uniform so I could change in the bathroom instead.
