"Mr. Weasley your late I better hope won't happen again.. will it."

"Umm no mam"

Hugo was the last to class and that made him have a bad reputation being the first day and all.

"I am sorry Lilly I didn't mean to go all bloody rude on you yesterday could you...then he's cut off by the teacher. I get out a piece of paper and gave it to him, reading will talk later I am kinda busy right now so please let me hear the teacher.

I was sitting next to a girl from my house he had flowy brunette hair and green eyes, her face full of a bunch of freckles. She had chosen to sit next to me I wasn't sure why. She handed me a note and it Read I saw you up last night much of a night owl down below it in smaller writing I am Kaydence If you ever need a sister I am here since we're in the same house we're basically family now so nice to meet you.

I wrote back saying my name is Lilly hello Kaydence thanks for the letter it was very nice of you also I promise I won't let our house down I just need to get out to fall asleep better.

The first time everyone knew of my parent but she was the first one not to ask anything about them and it felt great not to be stuck in their shadows-My brothers were also making names For themselves and the whole school knew them.

We were in herbology it wasn't too bad not too boring but I was looking forward to outside activities like learning to fly on brooms. As I get out of class The guy from last night stops in front in front of me,

"Hi, "he says

"Hi, "I say very awkwardly

"So Where did you go last night

"I don't know really It was too dark to tell but out in the open it was very pretty and you."

"I went into town or close to it."

"Cool um I should get going I think we have the same class so I guess we should both be going."

I didn't have broom class until tomorrow but today was charms we would learn all the basics nothing too interesting I was longing to learn all the hardcore spells the ones my aunt knows or that I have seen her do and they were pretty powerful cool looking spells. Our charms teacher was Filius Flitwick on our first day we learned the charm of levitation known as Wingardium Leviosa. Hugo couldn't do the spell right I was afraid he was going to light something on fire or take someone's eye out the only one in class that could do the spell was Gideon he said the words "wingardia leviosa and slowly lifted the feather in front of him with a little flick with his wrist.

I whispered to him "Gideon Hey how did you do that."

"Pretty easy say Win- gardia Lev-i-osa and then with your wand in your hand slightly lift it with going in a motion as in a circle or flicking it."

I did as he said and it worked I cheer for myself, "I did it lets GO"

"Miss potter plz keep it to your self but good job you two."

Thanks, Gideon, and his face filled with a bright contagious smile. Since we had nothing else to learn it was all just about one spell Mr. Flitwick let us go early before the rest of the class.

"It's nice to have a friend like you lily", Gideon says

"Thanks for having my back and helping me out and it's kinda fun because we get to have a free period to do whatever."

"You sure got the whole classes attention"

"Ya sorry," I said. No No with a slight giggle it was cool.

"Wanna see a cool spot I found the other night." I took his arm and led him to the exact spot I was during the night, no one was near and it was so quiet and peaceful and in more color with all the greenness of the grass and the dark of the water, the sun was reflecting the water giving it a light shimmer as well.

"Wow this is pretty... look you can see the train tracks from here."

We just sat together in silence for a while as we took in the scenery from around us.

Sorry to ruin the moment but can I ask you something, I nod.

" I know you have parents that are both magical but outside of Hogwarts what does your life look like, weird question sorry "

"It's fine hm um well for starters my father is always busy with work and all and my mum is off doing commissions for quidditch so its the mix of being bored at home with my cousin if my other part of my family was in school and going to quidditch games. It sounds fun and all but it's mostly just staying at home trying to sneak in some spells and charms when no one is around but it's hard having someone at your side all the time. During the summer we either go traveling somewhere either magic involved or not and we have a cottage up north. I didn't want to ask him about his life because I just wanted to sit for a while.
