Erased Memories (TFP)

ENTRY: 11/6/2021

Optimus went out early to scout for some energon, leaving Ioa back at base with Ratchet as the rest of the team were on curb side duty. Ioa yawned as she handed Ratchet a tool, the latter muttering his thanks.

Ioa and Ratchet were working on replicating the holoforming device, although the former did mention that she was okay in making via her powers but Ratchet advised her against it, not wanting her to strain herself.

Time flew by fast as they made the third holoforming device, and now currently working on the last one. The kids and their guardians were back at base, watching them racing with one another.

Ioa quietly chuckled as she saw Miko grumbling about how Raf's cheating. Her smile faltered a little when her intuition blared, her alter ego also warning her about the impending doom.

"Be careful, something's going to go wrong." Shadow said, making her counterpart sighed.

"When will it ever not go wrong, Shadow?" Ioa replied mentally, preparing herself for the worse.

Their attention was soon diverted when Agent Fowler called in, requesting for help because he was currently being chased after by Optimus himself. Ioa's gaze darkened at the mention of her sparkmate. The bots went and helped Fowler, while she and Ratchet stayed behind.

Initially, Ioa wanted to tag along but the trio declined, not wanting the femme to be clouded by her feelings. Ioa didn't want to believe the Autobot liason's words and tried to locate her significant other through the bonds.

'Big guy?' Ioa called out. A rush of endearment flooded her, comforting her effectively.

'Yes, little one?' Optimus replied tenderly. Ioa sighed and explained the situation to him. The Prime assured her he's fine and was on his way back.

The team came back with an unconscious Arcee in their arms and a frightened Agent Fowler. Ratchet and Ioa manage to patch the femme up and got her to wake up.

"That's it, follow the light..." Ratchet said. Arcee woke up and yelped, not liking his choice of words. Ioa said nothing as she heard the grumblings of Agent Fowler about Optimus, anxiously waiting for him to come back.

She wasn't worried about him knocking the human over, she was worried of his safety due to him being out of contact for so long. She had absolute faith in her sparkmate that he would never harm the humans.

The Prime droved into the base and transformed, only to find all optics and eyes trained on him.

"Is something wrong?" Optimus asked. Bulkhead and Arcee looked at one another before replying.

"We were just...wondering where you've been." Arcee said. Bulkhead nodded and continued after her. "We...haven't been able to reach you." He spoke uncertainly.

Optimus explained that he was out of communicating range and was about to pull out an Energon shard when the team lashed out their weapons on him. Ioa immediately stepped in front of him, glaring at her teammates.

"WOAH! STAND DOWN!" Ioa said, raising her servos in front them.

Optimus set a servo on her shoulder as he stepped forward, showing evidence that he was scouting for Energon. Arcee and the team realised their mistake and powered down the weapons.

"We're...sorry." Arcee went to him and apologised. Agent Fowler explained the situation to Optimus before getting another phone call. The male human was shouting something on the phone before a grim look flashed on his face.
