Season Of Us

+Preface+

Welcome back to my world of stories again. Well, technically this isn't just my world of stories. This is an our world of stories, created, nurtured and imagined over the span of some of our darkest and most vulnerable moments.

This...this world was like a little peace, our way of disconnecting from everything around us. Every difficulty,  Every sorrow, Every heartbreak we experienced in the last few months.

There were times, times when I personally felt like I could never write a word again. Felt like everything was for naught and it was hopeless to even try anything up. You know the moment when you internally felt your muse die a little, every day, when life is so repetitive that you feel trapped in the cycle and absolute hopeless.

But this was the little silver lining in our lives. So, you can say this story is close to our heart , my heart for more than one reason.

Now coming to the story.

The story is a simple story. A story of two people span over few years. There aren't any big world shattering secrets or twists. This won't make you want to weep or pull out your hairs. Though, it might want to curse some characters and us. Well, that's beyond the point.

This story is of two people, who fell in love. Yes, this is a love story and story of love too. But this is not a love story where the leads meet, clash, almost kiss, fight, cry, kiss, confess, make love and live happily ever after in toe-curling quick succession. That's not kinda our style. It's a slow story.

The characters will be as flawed as you and me. They aren't perfect. They never will be. But I hope you'll give this a chance and even if you don't want to it's fine.

If you do, thanks for chosing it and giving it a try. We swear we had been working very hard on this for months and we won't try to disappoint you. But if we do, we are sorry, we are kinda trying to reassure ourselves here that we still had got it in us. We can still write.

So, with that enough words are said, I guess.

Now moving on.
