Chapter 1 (Nightmares)

|No Ones POV|

Journey stared at the wall. She wondered what they were doing all by themselves in there. She sighed a leaned back in her throne "how did they even get in there?" she asked herself. Skyla walked into the room and sat next to Journey on the throne. "Something bothering you dear?" She asked Journey giving her a sweet half smile. "No. Just....nothing." Journey sighed. Skyla would freak out and ask so many questions Journey didn't even know herself. "If you say so darling. Have you seen the boys anywhere?" Skyla asked standing up and walking over to the tree in the middle of the room. "I think they went over to ash and Altarias house" Journey asked standing up to join her. "Let's go pick them up then, shall we?" Skyla asked holding her hand out to Journey. Journey stared at her hand for a second before taking it and walking out the door with her.

|Gabe's POV|

I brushed away the dirt that blew into Alens face. He sneezed. "Oops. Sorry about that Alen!" I giggled. Even though Alen was a year younger than me he was smarter than my big sibling Rose who was out in Auntie Jaydens universe. Alen whipped his nose with his sleeve. "It's fine Gabe" he sniffled. "So? What's in there?" Stripes asked. Stripes is my twin brother and my best friend. His names not really stripes either. His name is actually Leo but he didn't like that name and decided he liked to be called stripes. Mom and mama didn't mind it one bit! I looked down into the hole we were digging to get our non-blood related cousin Hayden's old time capsule from when she was our age. "Oh! Here it is!" I smiled. Alen pulled it out of the hole and stripes opened the capsule. "Woah! Wait...ewww." I held my nose at the gross smell coming from inside. "Why did she put dead animals in a time capsule?" Alen asked pulling his shirt over his mouth. "Relax, I'm sure your sister had a good reason....I think." Stripes tried to smile. "What are you kids doing out here? It's gonna be dark here in about...20-30 minutes." Uncle ash (who is not actually our uncle) walked over to us. "We dig up Hayden's old time capsule mama!" Alen ran up to them and gave them a big hug. Uncle ash chuckled and looked over at my and stripes. "Your mothers are here to pick you two up." Uncle ash smiled and motioned us to follow. "Okay but can you do something about the animal carcasses?" I asked pointing to them. "Yeah, I'll get them.." uncle sighed. I held mama's hand and stripes held moms hand. "Thanks again ash!" Mom waved goodbye. Uncle ash waved back. "Bye Gabe! Bye Stripes!" Alen called back to us. "Bye!" Stripes jumped up and down.

Time Skip

I opened bedroom door and climbed up onto my loft bed. I looked over down onto the ground to see Marshy standing there staring right back at me. "Hello marshy" I said sitting up. "Heyo Gabe!" Marshy laughed. Marshy is my inner demon. I got my demon trait from my mom. Even though I have angel wings like mama. "So are you going to bed or can we try and train?" Marshy asked looking up at me. "I don't see why we can't train" I smiled down at her and climbed down from my bed. "So I was thinking of mastering fire! Or maybe we could master air...ooh! What about-" "marshy I already said that I was going to master earth as my first magic" I smiled at her. She likes to overthink things. "Oh right! Sorry..." she giggled sounding embarrassed. "Its alright marshy. You forgot." I smiled bigger. If striped wasn't there to hang out with me I always had marshy. Even if she couldn't do anything to entertain me other than trying to teach me magic or talk.

Time Skip (Again)

"I think that's enough for today Gabe" marshy laughed. I took a few deep breaths. I had only grown a flower about half way and that took me two hours to do. "You should get some sleep." Marshy looked at the time. I looked at the time as well. 12:02 am. I sigh and stood up. And changed into something a bit more comfortable, blue shirt and red shorts "blue doesn't suit your hair" marshy looked me up and down. I sighed. I was true though, I got my purple and green hair from my mom and stripes got his brown hair from mama. Blue didn't go with purple or green. "Whatever" I crawled up into bed. "Night night marshy." I yawned and watched her disappear, going back into my mind.

I jumped onto a cloud and started doing laps around it. I tripped and started to fall out of the sky trying to grab onto anything I could find. I started to scream panicking that I would be able to grab anything.

I woke up sweating and screaming like I had been doing that all night. "Gabe? Is something wrong dear?" Mama walking I got the room to check on me. She flew up to my level. "I-I'm fine mama. Just- a bad dream..!" I tried to smile at her. "That's the third bad dream this week Gaberiel..." mama stared at me worriedly. "But it's not that bad mama, I promise!" I giggled trying to show her I'm okay. "Gaberiel it's Wednesday... the dreams started Monday, remember?" Mama rubbed my head. I closed my eyes as tears started to roll down my face onto the bed. "What happens tonight gabe?" Mama asked flying down to sit on my bed best to me. I looked at the time: 4:14. I looked back at mama and wiped my cheeks. "I was playing on a cloud and I tripped and fell off of it..." I sniffled. "And you couldn't find anything to hold onto?" I shook my head and grabbed the hair brush that was under my pillow and brushed my toy lions main with it. "Try and go back to sleep okay? And change out of those clothes. Your very sweaty dear." Mama kissed my head and left the room. "Okay mama." I rubbed my eyes. "Everything..okay?" Marshy asked as I was walking out of the closet. "Yeah..I'm okay marshy." I walked over to her and held her hand for a minute. "I'm okay, promise" I smiled. She looked like she didn't believe but then her permanent smile got bigger. "Okay....alright Gabe..but if you need anything let me know.." marshy smiled. "Oki doki marshy" I let go of her hand and went back to sleep.
